    I've never heard of that but perhaps they eat organic vegetables? That's what I usually go for!

    I think this is the best possible answer but fruits have seeds and seeds contain embryos.

    Yes, trees, bushes and plants release those things on their own but maybe their purpose is to spread the seeds.

    I think we do not choose our food based on vegetables or animals rights. We choose to eat less meat just because it is more healthy to stay away from meat and we choose to eat more vegetables because it is more healthy. These are scientifically proven facts.
