Successes/struggles this week: My biggest struggle overall is simply getting disciplined! (Can I get an Amen!) But I continue to move forward Another overall struggle is finding balance. Due to having PCOS my body is very sensitive to stress so I have to be careful not to stress about my food choices and instead find a happy balance.
Good luck everyone!1 -

Successes/struggles this week: I am still figuring out how many carbs I should have due to my PCOS. I went with 125g/day which is still kind of high for me but I want to decrease them slowly. My other goal is to not feel deprived and allow myself one small treat a day within my carb range. I have found that if I feel deprived my body feels stress and doesn't shed weight it should. This past week I ate a lot of junk (including nachos AND popcorn AND soda at the theater ) so I took it under control yesterday, allowed myself the one treat, and simply drank lots of water when the other cravings came. It worked2 -

Successes: Yay! This is the biggest loss I've ever had in one week. Probably had something to do with TOM being the week before. I didn't lose anything that week and I tend to gain during it. Food choices were good and I didn't feel deprived. Stress was high this week with the big job interview, but clearly I managed. Also, hit 10000 steps every day.
Struggles: I still need to figure out a way to get more veggies and fruit in. Also, definitely need to figure out the exercise piece. Right now I'm just walking with a bit of C25K. I'd love to do more strength training, but I would like to find a trainer to show me how to do it properly (old shoulder injury and I've hurt myself in the past doing things the wrong way). Also, dance. I need to find a place to dance.4 -

Successes/struggles this week:
Successes: I started working out again and counting my steps at work. I've been hitting close to 10,000 each day. I've increased my water intake and did a fridge makeover with healthy foods readily available. I've been logging my calories every day even if I know I've gone over my goal.
Struggles: I'm still having portion control issues and I get anxious at night until I have something to binge on before going to bed even if I am not hungry ( I at a bag of chocolate covered peanuts last night for 500cal extra). Not sure how to fix that as I can easily eat over my caloric limit at the end of the day and I feel like I've run out of self control at that point. I just give in no matter how much I told myself I wouldn't at the start of the day. Hopefully my exercise calories can make up for some of it until I figure out a solution.5 -

Successes/struggles this week: I can fit, comfortably, into a 2X! I've decided, if I hit goal next week, I'm going to adjust my goal weight for the rest of the month. I don't think I will - probably a gain next week - because I've got a high stress event on the 14th. I tend to drink more coffee and less water, along with going outside calorie goal, but we'll see.8 -

Always fighting a five or ten pound creep, if I don't pay attention
Sometimes, after a long day at work, it is easier to stay home than to go out again for a dance class
I am hoping for some accountability so I can get back down under 130 where I am most comfortable and my clothes look best.3 -

Successes/struggles this week: unfortunately I gained this week. I was doing well with my eating all week and did 5 workouts. Friday I was very tired which seems to be a big trigger for me. I also was having trouble breathing and had to use my inhaler which makes me jittery. The combination was really bad and resulted in horrible cravings. I over ate enough to undo all my progress & add a little extra. If anyone has suggestions on how to deal with this, I welcome any help.0 -

Successes/struggles this week
I went a bit off plan with my eating. But I went to the gym 4 times and really pushed myself. I got my steps on my fitbit. I even got a bit active with the kids in the weekend which are usually days I struggle (as I workout when they are at school usually).
So although I didn't stay on point with my eating I still managed to make it a win.
Back on plan eating and hoping to keep that a little more to plan this week.4
