You will know who is on which side of the debate when you see what concession stand everyone lines up in front of... cotton candy vs corn dogs! Or better yet - deep fried butter!
I'm looking for donuts for Lemurcat, so far all I can find is funnel cakes and fried oreos.
Let me know if you find any cauliflower donuts.
Found some kale ones.
Something about green donuts (unless it's green icing for St. Paddy's day) is just wrong.
This is one of the sickest *babysloth* things I've seen on these forums and I was around the night the porn thread was up for several hours. Proud to know you, my friend!
What was the title of that thread?? Lemme guess: How "sugar" burns calories
Edited: It was bad, really, really, bad.
The kale donuts pull in at a close second...
That's ok, I really don't want to know!
I'll send a PM if you are really curious0 -

It was traumatizing. Bad enough that I had it buried. But those kale donuts0 -
Why add kale to donuts? The idea of treats is that they are treats. By all means have kale, but just have it where appropriate. I add kale to juices or in an omelette. What's this obsession with adding "health" foods to treat foods? They don't have to be eaten together. Kale donuts my God.1

I hope I didn't traumatize too many people.
Here, pass this around:

But it's raw cane sugar, coconut sugar, and brown rice syrup. So now somehow it's totally healthy. It also comes with extra self-righteousness.7 -
Remember the days when kale was the green crap decoratively lining salad bars because it was cheap and no one wanted to eat it? I miss those days.3

And that extra self-righteousness is multiplied by how many grams of kale are in the cookie! So THAT'S why kale is now in baked goods! We solved the mystery!!2 -

You probably have to have ironic facial hair to be permitted to buy it.1 -
Could someone please post some new yummy pictures in the Oreos thread to make up for the kale fueled abominations I'm seeing in this thread? Thank you!1

The kale is for color
So that's the real reason? *mind blown*
I think the green color makes them less appetizing, but I'm probably not part of the market they're going for.

Not what you asked for, but discussions of green sweets always make me think of this photo:
