Successes/struggles this week: Not as much of a loss as I needed this last week, but since I went out for my birthday on Friday and had the works - delicious meal (ate half), martini, and desert - and then of course my family had to get in on the action and I had cake on Saturday (...and Sunday), I was definitely expecting it to be worse! This just means that this week I have to work twice as hard to lose those last two pesky pounds for my goal! I'm keeping positive though. Even if I fall short a pound, I'm still really happy with how this month is going. After 4 months of nothing changing I'm ecstatic just to lose anything! lol.1 -

Successes/struggles this week: Well, after losing 10 lbs per month for three months, the weight loss has started to slow down. I have increased my activity by over 80% and want to believe that part of the slowing has been due to building lean muscle. I am grateful that I continue to see progress. I really learned a lesson the hard way this month when I attempted to exercise every day without proper sleep and injured my calf muscle. It forced me to slow down and give back to my body in a different way. Great month everyone!3 -

Woohooo. Decided to start trimming down this month, worked hard and am super happy to be down 10+ pounds!
I'm a bit hard on myself sometimes that my loss was a bit front loaded (5+ pounds that first week) but at the same time I'm not sure losing at that pace would be healthy. Gonna keep doing what I've been doing: being more active + mindful of nutrition and hopefully continue to see results.

My successes this week were getting in 5 workouts even when I was tired or running short on time, completing the first week of a 28 day plank challenge, and making good food choices despite not having much time to cook.
I have only lost .4 pounds this month but I feel like I've established a good workout routine and I've been moving in a positive direction with my food choices. My down fall is my weekends. I get lazy about tracking my food. This will be my primary focus for the next month. This challenge has been very helpful in holding me accountable.
