Boss asked me for weight loss advice for his wife who is struggling with eating and doing exercise after seeing my day to day progress so I recommended she join up to this fab site feel quite honoured that he asked me too.11

Aaah the under the bra back fat roll. I had to post a reply to yours because my NSV is that my bras totally don't fit...too big. I've lost 23 pounds and have been too lazy to get new ones (I plan to loose more so I don't want to buy new bras every 10 pounds lost) but this was ridiculous. So, bought 2 new today and got measured...down from a 42 to 38...amen for NSV's when a kind elderly woman is measuring your chest.

I cleaned out my closet and took all my bigger stuff to donate !
I've lost a few inches off my waist !
I weigh less than my drivers license says and I had always lied on it before so it as always said I weighed less than I was !
I'm smaller (yet still a ways to go) than I have been in ten years !14 -
Getting into a bathroom stall used to be a tight squeeze. I'd have to maneuver all kinds of ways to get the door to close and it always felt like the stalls were very close quarters. Now, I easily walk in, close the door, and I feel like the stall is huge!11

I've been telling myself for the past two weeks to get up early and do my workout so I don't let other things get in the way. I've set my alarm early, I've set out my workout clothes...but today was the first day I actually did it! And it feels awesome...even if I did have to get up at 5am19

I got up at 6 am today but didn't do my workout too tired lol....glad to here there is still hope for me

I own one pair or work trousers which I couldn't fit in to when I started my journey as they were too small. I basically lived in dresses and shirt/skirt combos.
A couple of months ago, I shimmied those trousers on. A bit too snug for work though.
A month ago, those trousers fit and made me look good.
Today they are slipping from my waist and I can wiggle out of then without unbuttoning.
I'm actually kind of sad as I love these trousers! I hate shopping for trousers as well as I'm convinced they all make my thighs look thunderous.16 -

I exercised all winter and couldn't do the standing quad stretch. Today I finished the first day of C25K (all of the runs) AND was able to grab my ankle with my hand while standing for the first time in years!19

Needing new pants with a smaller waist size and new belts - no weight loss just getting in better shape.14

Went shopping for workout clothes today and I'm down two whole sizes (shirts and pants) since the beginning of this year on clothes at the same store and same brand as I had gotten before. Yay!!!20

I put down a chocolate chip cookie! I can't remember a time when I said "no" to a cookie! Food is slowly starting to control less of me and I love it. Also, to everyone on this column, your accomplishments are AMAZING!!!! KEEP IT UP!!!24

6 month follow up with my doctor today. Blood sugar? Both blood and fasting= normal range. Cholesterol= in normal range. I'm 7 pounds from normal weight range. (I was hoping to be 150 for this appointment, i made it to 147.)

Our local parks department is now hosting a weekly two mile fun run. I ran for the first time tonight and ran my two miles in under 18 minutes. I ran in 17:40. My next goal is to get under 17 minutes! At 48 years old I'm probably fitter than I've ever been!28

I went with my roommate to buy junk food did not buy a thing. Instead I made some airpopped popcorn and munched on that as she ate her chocolate and chips!15

Still waiting for my treadmill to be repaired which has made me quite anxious for two weeks now, so I have been hammering the home gym... And tonight I discovered an old skipping rope! My latest NSV? Revisiting my childhood, and skipping spasmodically for ten minutes without breaking my neck. Noticing that there is hardly any jiggling fat in the process. And actually looking forward to doing it again tomorrow!20

Only ate half my entree at dinner last night, didn't order a beer, and I STILL have ice cream in the freezer that I'm saving for a craving.10
