I'll join! I am going to set my goal for 75 miles. Although, I am going to be walking all day at an amusement park, how can I log that into this challenge? How do I figure out how many miles I walked. Will be there all day.

You can wear a pedometer to track your number of steps and divide by steps/mile. That's what I've done before! :)

You can upload a mile tracking application on your iPhone such as mapmyhike, runkeeper, iBody, everytrail etc. Another way to do it is to get a Garmin Forerunner GPS watch, or a pedometer. Last but least accurate solution is to plot your track on Google earth manually :ohwell: .

I'll set my goal for 100 miles for July, Just give me some time to prepare the spreadsheet and as soon as I do it I'll post the link.

You're welcome Denise  It takes some work, but it's rewarding when the people involved are as hard-working as we are

I'd like to join! I'm in a wheelchair and want to build up strength in my legs before hip surgery. Having a hard time walking any distance, so my starting goal is three miles, which is what I used to run.

Gonna aim for 80 miles this month. Starting tomorrow.

Gonna do a 3 mile race on the 4th, and a 10k on the 23rd, and plan on hitting those hilly trails a lot in between.

First five miles under the belt.

I can't express how much I  trail running. And it amazes me how I used to be so afraid to even run in the neighborhood, for fear of twisting an ankle, and now I bounce all over the woods, over fallen trees, around (and sometimes through) muddy puddles, careening down rocky dirt roads.

Ran 4.28 outside; was hoping for 5 but it's hot & humid this morning. I haven't had the pleasure of running in this weather yet.

I absolutely LOATHE exercising. I can dance like a fool around my apartment and work, but deliberate exercise is what I need to start doing. This would be perfect. I will start with 30 miles. I have never done this before, how do I join and make a ticker?
