I have been logging in and faithfully weighing and measuring my food for 102 days and lost 37 pounds. My close friends and family have told me I look better, but I always assume that is their way to support me. Today when I went to get my nails done, two of the techs in the salon told me I look great and asked me what I have been doing!!!!26

Going down the stairs the "normal" way (instead of sideways / 2 feet on each step) because my knees are feeling so much better.34

I hit my 365-day consecutive login streak on MFP yesterday, and I kept up my diary every. single. day. as accurately as I could manage. I'm kinda pleased with myself - "consistency" is not, normally, my middle name.41

I remember when I had my first gym induction lasting less than 40 mins I was falling asleep within minutes of getting home I was soooo tired. Today I ran over 4 miles before breakfast and then cycled 34 miles and then got on with the day! Ready for bed now though!23

Old high: 26,000 steps
Yesterday: 40,000 steps
I took my daughter to the Vans Warped Tour. We got through the gates at 9:30 AM and the last band played at 8:30 PM. I had absolutely nothing to do for all of those hours. I decided to walk and decided that it was time to break my high steps. I don't think I'll ever be able to break my new high; when will I ever have another day with that many hours with nothing to do?
I broke mine yesterday too, but it was only 17k, ill try again today to beat that lol.
When I started out, my goal was 10,000 per day. I finally started averaging 12,000 - 14,000, so 10,000 wasn't a challenge anymore. Now my daily goal is 15,000 per day. It took me a long time to finally break my 26,000 high (about 4 months). Good luck on breaking your new high.7 -
Walked 35 minutes to happy hour last night, rather than making a quick car ride. Stuck to 2 glasses of prosecco, net zero calories!!16

Awsome! Did you use the "advanced" trail? I have never tried that one, the regular one used to be hard (ish) when I was not overweight... New goals...0 -

Wearing a Lululemon top (in a size 4 no less!) for the first time in my life was pretty NSV to me today. I always relegated Lululemon to the arena of "skinny girl clothing" and never tried it even as a teenager when it initially became popular! If only they still made this style of tank...I'd buy them all

Maybe not a typical example of NSVs... I have told myself for weeks, months, years... that I am going to meal prep on Sundays so I am prepared for the week and I don't end up winging it in the drive-thru. I finally did it today! I have multiple options prepared in the fridge. (I also bought a package of the new Chocolate Chip cookie Oreos at the store the other day because taste testing is fun. I have been able to limit myself to having 4 cookies after lunch... Normally, I would take 4 and then go back for 4 more... and then I would just grab the rest of the row...) These things are indicating to me that I am serious about my health this time. Woohoo NSV!32

I can't believe that I went back to the vintage clothing store I visited a year ago, 600km from where I live, and the dress I fell absolutely in love with was still there and now it fits me! I bought it! But that's just a frivolous NSV, although it delights me. The real bonus is the way I feel about myself now. Proud instead of despairing.48

I put a pair of shorts on that were stashed away at the back of a draw and they are comfortable!16

I went shopping as I don't have any clothes that fit anymore...although I have been reluctant to, so far as I haven't achieved my final goal...
Well, I officially wear L compared to 2XL/3XL from the same shop 6 months ago.
I bought a pair of jeans : size 10 US / 44 EU compared to 24 US / 56 EU before !25 -
I'm progressing in my weight lifting (everything but OHP for some reason). I LOVE lifting, and I can't wait to get back and up the weights some more!11

my coworker told me i look SKINNY this morning. best monday ever!
i was at perkins for a meeting last night...i pre-planned my supper at home beforehand and did not partake in any food while there.11 -

@PaigeInTechnicolor I'm not aware of any "advanced" trail.... I did part of the Cherokee trail which it the one around the base, a "connecting/orange" trail, then the "walk up/yellow" trail to the top. As you know Stone Mountain is not terribly difficult but at times is challenging and steep, the hardest part is how hot that giant rock is with barely any shade! Lol

I was at work explaining part of an emergency escape hatch to a tour, and I was describing how narrow it was. Someone in my tour asked how narrow and I explained that I couldn't get into it.
She looked at me all shocked and said "but you're not big!"
The other people in her group then started a conversation about how my shoulders are broad, but really, someone my size should be able to fit.15 -
Got up early (not my favorite thing) before work and walked the dog 2.34 miles. P.S. Will the heat and humidity ever break?!?11

since i prelogged all my food for the day, I was able to move items around and fit in a krispy kreme glazed donut. w00t.15

So my latests NSV is small but very significative to me. I usually do great on diet and excercise on workdays but the weekends are hard due to the lack of structure and family and friends reunions...
But this past saturday even tho I indulge with some homemade bread my friend had made for brunch, the rest of the wekend I was able to make healthy choices.21 -
My most recent was waking up and going "not bad" at the mirror16

Ran my first mile!
A bit more to be exact - 2km in 11'18", with the closest comparable thing being 1.3km in around 6 and a half minutes, which I also did fairly recently. I'm not on a program but have been trying to jog a bit more on the way to swimming.15 -
Conquered my first Terrain Race 5K this weekend! My wife and I had a blast doing something that we would have never done before! Together we've lost 90lbs in the last 8 months. If you have the opportunity you have to do a terrain race.....most fun I've had in a long time!

1 year logging today!
Also when I was near my heaviest I won a BSG sweatshirt that I couldn't fit into, but I kept it around because nerdy thing. As of now I can wear it over a thin tshirt or tank top, and soon should be able to wear it regardless.15 -
Can run 10 miles in under 2 hours.21

Skype my dad yesterday. He hasn't seen me since April, and the first thing he said was, "You look great!" Its great to hear it from people who haven't seen you in a while. Also, my face had angles in the Webcam and didn't look round and puffy!13

Totally NOT a sad NSV--it's great that you can easily do your own pedi! Are you buying fun colors to celebrate?6
