Fabulous. We change a lot since highschool. One of my friends never ran, now she's a marathon runner7 -
I've had a few in the past week!
Had my hen do (bachelorette) this past weekend and my friends from my old area haven't seen me in close to a year. They all called me skinny and were amazed at how much smaller I was.
My fiancé was going out with his brother and the dad's from both sides as a second stag as they couldn't do the first. His brother said that I looked incredible and was astounded by how I've changed.
The last, and best of all for me as i hated it before due to being self-conscious about my weight, is that my fiancé scooped me up in his arms with ease. He could barely do it before and not for long as his arms would shake! He said it easy. Means he could actually 'carry me over the threshold' in 9 days when we get married!57 -
I've been working on my posture to combat back pain, but now, I feel where my abs are from working on my core two days in a row.12

Last night I actually weighed my snack to get the exact serving size. That is something I rarely would do in the past!20

Muah ha ha. Dreadmill! DREADmill. Why did I never hear that before. Wayyy to funny.18 -
My (tiny) summer clothes and bikini's not only fit me again this summer, but look even better with muscles to fill them out!18

For the first time ever, I didn't need to even pull my shorts down once while walking today. So glad not to get the frontal wedgie in shorts on my walks!!25

I was grumpy and unmotivated and just feeling out of sorts when I started my run this morning. Apparently that works for me because I ran my 10 mile route in under 96 minutes. That is my best time by almost a full minute!23

Ahhhh. That last part made me a little teary eyed!
Glad it's not just me getting something in my eye...
@Alarae21 Congratulations on all your NSVs and especially on your upcoming wedding! I hope you have an amazing and memorable day!4 -
I have officially been on a weight loss regimen and stuck with it for longer than I ever have in the past.33

Usually when I make dinner i eat before I clean up. I only have me to cook for so there is always left overs and I usually go back to eat the leftovers because they are still sitting on the stove. Last night, I made dinner and proportioned everything out and packed up the leftovers before I sat down to eat so when I went to clean up there was nothing there to tempt me. Didn't even have a bite more then I should have.51

Thank you both so much! It has been the cherry in top of what I have achieved already3 -
Well... today I put away all of my maternity clothes. I'm 6 months postpartum on Friday and I'm back down to my heaviest weight pre-baby, which means I can fit into some of my old clothes! Yay! I tried on an old bikini for the heck of it, and I was surprised it didn't look as bad as I had imagined! Lol.
I still have a ways to go but am so proud how far I have come, I wish I had a "before" picture, when I started this journey, 6 weeks after giving birth and well over 200 lbs.... but here I am now,
*WARNING! BIKINI PHOTO AHEAD*
Note to self: next time I won't gain over 60 lbs while pregnant!!!!!
It's a lot harder to lose it than it is to gain it!!!
I'm currently on round 2 of Jillian Michaels Body Revolution and I run 5k every week night. This is the longest I have ever stayed committed to a healthy lifestyle and I'm not turning back!30 -
My resting heart rate has dropped from being in the mid to high 50's in April to the mid to high 40's for the last couple of weeks.22

Now having to eat more running after an 11 month old climber6

I'm on Day 200 and one pound from my initial goal weight (29 pounds down). I had a head shot taken for work about a month before starting with MFP and then had another one taken this week. I knew my face had slimmed down a little as I've dropped weight, but seeing the two pictures next to each other - wow! Very proud of myself, and very motivated not to go back to where I was!19

Fantastic!2 -
I was leaving the gym yesterday and saw a woman coming in - she looked angry/unhappy - I was almost afraid to say anything. I smiled and said, "good morning". Her whole face lit up and she smiled. I felt good about that.55

OMG, y'all! My feet, ankles, calves, thighs, and Achilles are noticeable and defined!!!! OMG! So long cankles!26

I have 2 NSV that I'm super proud of!
I had a rough few weeks of being sloppy with my tracking and exercise and I needed to get back on track, so I went out and bought a pair of size 4 jeans. My last "goal" jeans were size 6s, which I only dreamed of fitting into 2 years ago when I was a size 14. I brought these size 4 jeans home and wanted to try them on, imagining I could have a good laugh with my fiancé over how comically small they were (there was no way I was going to fit these - I still have 25 pounds to lose!). Well, I was shocked when they actually slid on! They don't fit just yet, but man did that light a fire under me!
Also, I have been testing out recipes for my wedding cake and after baking 2 cakes this weekend, I'm proud that we still have most of it in the fridge! Every piece that I've had this week has fit in my calories. Though I've been running a lot more than usual. Cake is a great motivator, haha.26 -
Felt good in my close today.
Got a free cookie sandwich from marble slab and brought it home for the kids!12 -
discovered my shirt is hanging straight in the front, brushing past the rolls instead of clinging to them.
stomach no longer sticks out farther than boobs!33 -
I did my monthly measurements today. I'm showing a 1.5" loss in my waist, 2" loss in my hips, and 1" loss in each thigh since last month. So far I've lost a total of 2.5" in both my waist and hips the last two months, 2" in each thigh, and 1/2" in my neck.24
-
I fit back into an old pair of jeans. They were a bit tight, probably too tight to wear comfortably, but considering a few weeks ago I couldn't get them past my thighs, I'm really happy with it17

My daughter found a nice pair of shorts at goodwill. too tight on her but fit me.12
