I know that next week, I will be sitting in training four out of five workdays. Only one seminar will have lunch provided. So I'm already thinking ahead about how I will manage the lunch times. In the past, I wouldn't even think about pre-planning, and would probably eat whatever was available or go out with others without much thought.14

One week down keeping a track of what I eat n do cardio n walk....frm 97kgs to 94 kgs feeling super good17

I am able to wear 2 of my old belts that are size 38" and leather. I have had them for over 10 years.14

Did 30 squats (broke parallel) last night. First time EVER. BAM! Hurt soooooo good.25

Seeing my butt in the mirror, and thinking "HOT DAMN!!!" Was a definite first for me!19
-
Hip Bones, I got's em!27
-
My teen son asked if I am getting skinner or if it was my top? I was wearing a fitted exercise top! I am losing both inches and lbs. Not bad considering my thyroid is out of range at the moment.25

I want hip bones!!8

I bought a dress last Saturday to wear to our daughter's wedding in Sept and when I tried it on for my husband, while he loved it, he thought it looked too big.
We took it back the next day and exchanged it for the smaller size.27 -
Putting on a pair of my yiga pants that almost looked like "floods" but they now cover my ankle. I am pumped and still working hard at them covering my heel. Lol maybe at that point they may fall down LOL19

My favorite NSV so far is not having pull my pants over my muffin top.24

I had an "after" picture become a "before" picture yesterday. In the first picture, I had already lost about 42 lbs. The difference between the two pictures are 9 weeks and only about 10 lbs. I was really surprised to see the difference in my face and arm

Went to Texas Roadhouse last night and got peanut dust and oil all over my only clean pair of size 34 Dockers. Freaked out until I decided to try on my old 32's.
They fit! And they're much more comfortable than the 34s have been recently.24 -
Went to my doctor today to see if my vitamin D results were up from 6 months ago. (They were) He couldn't stop gushing about my weight loss, and how unbelievably different and how much happier I look. (I wore a little make-up for dramatic effect ) He, literally couldn't stop staring at me in amazment...almost became uncomfortable, lol. He also happens to live across the street from me and told my husband to congratulate me on all the running I'd been doing. That was nice. He also said that as a doctor, it was just really nice to be able to see a patient take control of their health and to be able to see what's possible. I have to go back in 3 months for another blood test. Can't wait! I'll be at a 'healthy' BMI by then!40

Yeah. A neighbor, who did have the surgery, very nearly refused to believe that I didn't.20 -
I ran my first 10 minute mile! I used to walk "the mile" in high school29

In some senses this is not really an NSV but it feels appropriate.
My older brother has always been lighter than me and teased me about my weight. Or at least until today, where I weighed in lighter than him for the very first time!38 -
Pulled a 300lb deadlift for three reps at 185lb bodyweight.23

Came back from vacation where I didn't track and basically ate everything I wanted (in moderation) and immediately started tracking again. That has been a problem in the past a vacation could easily derail me, this time right back to it, and no guilt about vacation indulgences.30

I started my journey in April and since then I had worked out religiously 5 days a week without skipping a workout. I was terrified for the moment that I would have to skip a workout because in the past this has completely derailed me.
Last week my worst nightmare came true and I caught a horrible cold and was out of the gym and not eating the greatest for an entire week. I felt a bit defeated and then Monday morning rolled around and I got myself to the gym and back in track! Now I feel like nothing can derail me

I had a head shot taken for work about a month before starting with MFP and then had another one taken this week. I knew my face had slimmed down a little as I've dropped weight, but seeing the two pictures next to each other - wow! Very proud of myself, and very motivated not to go back to where I was!
. . . wish we could see them!
I've been reluctant to post identifying pictures, but just realized I don't even know how to post them if I wanted to! They're not online so I don't have a
URL, and I can't find anything in the forums explaining a way to upload them from the photo gallery on my android phone. Sorry. :-(1 -
It's nice to be asked how I lost the weight to be told you inspired them to change too13

Please don't post them, if you're uncomfortable with that. Thank you for answering!5 -
Being the hottest chick at the pool...at least in my own mind. (But I guess that's where it really counts!)27

This week, my NSV was making two delicious and healthy dishes with seasonal produce that friends have given me from their gardens that I'll be making again and again. Gluten free tomato pie and cucumber soup. Both sound a little kooky, but they were so good. I used deal with work stress by going home and ordering high calorie delivery food.19

I worn a pair of shorts yesterday that I haven't fit into in 3 years.17
-
Went to a couple of theme parks in the last few months and was able to ride the rides with no problems.26
-
I shopped my closet this morning to wear a shirt that had been too tight before I started MFP.17
-
I can no longer 'shop my closet'. I'm smaller than I was in high school! Thank God for thrift stores!34
