I am so happy with my creativity in the kitchen these days.
I think up recipes, and they end up tasting as good as I imagined...
I made/created an awesomely yummy broccoli and chicken soup today.
Its uber nutritious and awesomely filling....I had to keep checking and calculating the nutrient values over and over, to make sure I am not inadvertently eating a fattening soup.
Wow....I feel so encouraged, great tasting food, that I will eat for years to come...It tastes that good.25 -

I had an NSV recently.. I went to see my nephew in his first play (Once Upon a Mattress) and went to buy a tshirt to support the drama department. I asked the gal behind the desk (whom I thought was quite thin) what size she thought I could wear. She looked at her shirt, then looked at me and said "well mine is a medium, but I think you could use a small"27

Took a friend stand up paddling boarding. My water shorts that have been too small for a few years fit well. The ladies ones. I'm too small for the pair of men's water shorts I also have!16

Today I got back into working out for the first time in over a year. Got 15 minutes into the first stage of 30 Day Shred and am feeling quite proud of myself. I stopped pretty much any effort in the last couple of years and I kept saying "next week, tomorrow, next week" and today I just thought "I've got the time, why not?" and went for it. I'm going to feel it tomorrow when I try for the full set, but I think it'll be worth it!
Well done to everyone on their success and I wish you all good things for the future!24 -
Last week I didn't log at all - sometimes I hate being online all.the.time. But I was mindful of my meals, even took my lunch to 3 full days of departmental training. I still fit in 4 days of walking the dog, despite the heat & humidity. And I am starting to log again today.14

i am comfortable in men's size xl t-shirts. i started in men's size xxxl t-shirts and they were getting tight!
i jogged a mile during my son's football practice three times last week. this was on top of the four times i went to the gym last week.25 -
I got my dogs ready to go for a walk on Saturday and when we stepped out it was raining. It had been cloudy all day but I didn't realize that it had started to rain. I didn't want to disappoint the dogs by turning right around and going inside so we loaded up in the car and went to get some gasoline. I figured they would at least be happy to go for a ride. On the way home it seemed to be raining lighter so I went ahead and stopped at the park. By that time it was sprinkling and we only did 1/2 a mile, but the old me wouldn't have even considered walking in the rain. I probably would have walked more if I'd been by myself, but I didn't really want to come home with 2 drenched and stinky dogs.28

Bought size L gym shorts and t-shirts on Friday, started wearing them today, and am recycling the old XL shorts and shirts this afternoon...22

Wearing pants from start in may until this weekend, all at once! Even with 3 pairs of jeans underneath my original pants were still loose!

Had bought 2 pairs of jeans 4 months ago, a size 40 and a 38 that I really liked but was too tight to be comfortable. Needed some clothes for a casual outting yesterday and took out the 40. Couldn't keep them on, way too baggy, almost 2-3 inches too much waist. Then I tried the 38, not only they fit great but there were even a bit too loose. Had to put on a belt, was on the smallest hole and was still loosing my pants. Definitely will have to shop for a new belt and other pants soon! :-)27

I went from running 1:00 minute to running a mile and half today. It's my goal to be able to run 5k by October!30

I used to get pin and needle feelings in my feet and sometimes my toes would go numb. I just realized I haven't had that happen for well over a year.28

I had a healthy breakfast today ( I usually skip) of oatmeal with flax and chia seeds and dried apricots and I actually thought while I was eating it "this is delicious!" Then while I was doing my yoga workout I was finally able to do a right angle pose with grip. First time I could get my hands to meet.22

I walked 2 consecutive miles a 3 mph. I started walking on Memorial Day and I was going under 2 mph.23

Best photo ever! Congrats on your loss!5 -
I took the dogs out earlier today and was walking around the yard as usual and decided to stop and go sit down. I glanced at my phone to see how much longer until I took them in and said, "Nah, I'll keep going. There is only eight minutes left." Then kept walking until the eight minutes were up.
Since measuring myself last week I have lost 1 inch off my hips, 1 inch off my stomach, 1 inch off my upper right arm, a half an inch on my left forearm and half an inch on my right forearm.25 -
Last night on the bike at the gym, I noticed I'm getting a little muscle just to the outside of my knee. There's a slight crease from just beside my knee running diagonally up towards the center of my leg. Sorta turned me on, in a non-sexual way. If that makes sense29

I donated a whole garbage bag of clothes, because they were too big
Now, shopping, which I have mixed feelings about, I used to know exactly which size to get where, but I don't anymore, especially with vanity sizing running rampant xD21 -
Unending heat & humidity (for Wisconsin) and I'm in my "I hate to plan meals" phase. Hubby last night wanted to get out of the house, so we ate at Hardees. I knew it put me over my daily goal, but I logged every bite! Today is a new day.20

Enjoying holidays - even though not able to log every day due to sketchy internet periodically - am still being mindful of what I am eating. When I think I am a little over my normal eating routine - like this morning - I will log (if I can) just to force myself to check.
Keeping it real and keeping it honest.

Walked up a flight of stairs after walking around the fair all morning and noticed I wasn't having trouble breathing.
Went shopping and bought clothes several sizes down.
Rode my bike 4 miles after a long day at the fair.
over 1500 miles ridden on the bike since May 2.

My work scrubs were too tight 9 days ago, to the point where I gave up and went back into my closet and dug out my bigger size. Well I washed and dried the smaller size (like I do with all my clothes) and when I put them on today, I had room in the thighs, and I didn't feel like I packed into the top, I have room there too! 9 days of eating right and 8 days of exercise has helped me get comfortably back into my work clothes. It was just the motivation I needed. Now, I'm thinking "if I did that in 9 days, just think of what I can do in 90!"35

I have hit a plateau but I am not upset about it. I am keeping up with my logging and exercise in stead of quitting.26

went shopping for jeans for fall and family pictures and down to a 6 from a 10 back in the fall.19
