I'm skipping the shred today ... I'm pretty sure it would be Day 7/Level 1.
I have to be at work in a few minutes (8:00), I work all day, have to hang out with my family ... and then I have a date!0 -
I must have forgotten to post last night... Level 1 Day 8 done....0

Woo hoo! That felt great! Just decided to go up to Level 2 of 30DS and boy that was just what I needed! I should have been on day 7 level 1 but was a little bored and not feeling it the next day.
Level 2 kicked my butt big time but I feel fantastic. Not sure my body will agree in the morning but wow- I LOVE LEVEL 2!!!!
Am I mad or is anyone else out there loving level 2?
How are you all finding it?0 -
Day 6 of level 1 for me. I ate way too much to day at a fourth of July party and really didn't feel like exercising, but figure I did enough damage as it was. It's much easier now than it was. It doens't hurt anymore, even when I forgot to crate the dog first and he ended up sitting on my chest for ab exercises. I guess that's jsut extra resisitence and intensity.
LMAO - that really had me chuckling. I can imagine your dog thinking "don't phone it in........I'll help you out by sitting on you".
Your comment brightened my day! :laugh:0 -
Day 7. I'm skipping one day a week. Getting stronger, but still not ready for level 2.0

L1D9 done its gotten easier again good thing I'm changing level day after tomorrow...0

Glad I made you laugh. He did look pretty proud of himself--I think he decided to become my personal trainer. But tonight I crated him before doing day 7. :-) That's great that you are able to move on early. I think I'm good here for a few more days.0

I just finished day 8! Level 1 is pretty comfortable for me now, so I'm using it as a "rest" day and alternating level 1 / 2 for a bit (until I reach 10 full days of level 1). Not sure if I explained that well, but it makes sense in my head.
I generally shred after my runs, and it's doing wonders for my core and arms! Already noticing some definition coming in. Awesome!!

I have a short attention span and if I am bored I find it hard to stick to the same old same old day in day out.
Not that I am justifying my reasons for jumping to level 2 or anything.
So anyway day 8 of the shred and now on level 2 and loved it again tonight. Hard but in a good way.
How are you guys finding it now?0 -
Day 8, Level One completed. I'm planning to stick with Level One until I can do all the push-ups without doing the girl version of them.0
-
Level 1 done on to level 2 tomorrow0

After 5 days in NYC I'm still at day 5. But doubling up today and tomorrow. Determined to get to level 2 by this weekend! Darn holidays!0

Level 2 Day 1 done. I didn't do the shred yesterday cuz my feet were so swollen I don't think they could have taken it. Today was much easier then when I did this level in the first round....0
-
My knees were really hurting yesterday so had to skip a day.
Gonna try to do day 11 tonight.
Is anyone else finding it tough going on their knee joints?0 -
3rd day on level 2!! some parts are getting a little easier but still tough!!!
I put my favourite pair of jeans on yesterday and they were too big so it must be working
Hope everyone is still going strong?

it's hell on my knees. I have bad knees already so I am in pain through most of the routine but not so much that I can't do it. I figure as long as my knees don't lock up and I can walk in the mornings it can't be that bad....0 -
Level 2 Day 2 done. I feel more exhausted but less sweaty if that is possible... it could be because I did the first day of week 2 for C25K. oh well I got it done I am proud...0

level 2 day 4 done really pushed myself today, I dont know if that means I will pay for it later but right now I feel good!0

Level 2 Day 4 done
Well done keep it up!0 -
I was wondering how heavy weights people are using? I'm using 6lb weights but have had a look at level two and think that 6lbs maybe a bit heavy.0

Well after 9 days vacation I got back to shred today. Did level 1 and level 2 back to back so technically done level 1 day 6 and level 2 day 1. I'm assuming the break, the horrible heat and humidity, and an eight o'clock dinner all contributed to feeling like I was going to puke a couple times. With that being said I kept going and think I did a pretty decent job! Level 2 is defiitely a step up from level 1 but I just compare to where I was during my first round of shred and I am defiitely stronger this time around so there's no excuse!0

I use 5 pounders. The first time I did shred I used 5s for level 1, but with levels 2 and 3 I switched it up between 3s and 5s depending on the move. If you can do 6 more power to you!0 -
Level 2 Day 5 done half way through...0
