My wife would be pissed.
So it really depends on how hot she is to see if it is worth it.18 -
Bad idea0

Depends, I met my wife at my old job. But I have seen it end bad as well1
-
it depends
it might be easier to first get her fired, then console her3 -
No. Don't *kitten* where you eat.
Also it's humiliating when they ditch you and start dating someone else from work. Not that this happened to me1 -
Don't *kitten* where you eat2

Dont do it, it can turn bad, for both or just one, can be embarrassing, some companies it is policy not to do so. I have seem people quit their jobs cause relationships when bad, and it got ugly at work.2

right?
risk vs. reward
.... let's say I had a job drying off cars at a carwash (my dream job) and the cashier was attractive and nice?
let me think...
yeah, still, there's no way I would risk that career

Don't dip your pen in company ink.....4

At 43 and divorced, I would not rule it out.
With the following caveats:
How are your relationships with your exes? If you are the kind of person who burns bridges, it's probably not a good idea.
If you are the kind of person who dates people who turn out to be crazy, probably not a good idea.
If you looking for casual stuff as a rebound, probably not a good idea.2 -
I was married for 18 years to a man I met at work.0
-
My husband and I work for the same company. It's a very large financial services company however, we only see each other at lunch (he is in legal, I am HR).0
-
My first husband and I worked together
My current husband and I met at work.
I see no problem with it you have ready made discussion topics0 -
As far as bad ideas go, this one is better than drinking gasoline.
(But if you're gonna drink gasoline, you have to weigh it with a food scale first and make sure it fits your macros.)1 -
Don't dip your pen in company ink.....
This has been said to my husband
and it's really funny when we say we met at work and says he's a lawyer and I was a secretary and he gets the nudge and a wink and a good job buddy at which time I said I took a lot of "dictation".
hahah it's fun messing with people3 -
I don't see a problem with it...thinking about it, most of the women I've dated I met at work...I do recall it being a bit awkward for a bit of time after breakups, but I don't remember the world going to *kitten* or anything...0
