Hi! I'm a 30 year old social worker. I'm 5'2 and as of today have around 30 lbs I'd like to lose. Been up and down over the past 8 years with my weight.
It looks like I might be a little late to the game, as there seems to be a solid group of ladies already in place here! I'd love to be a part of that and help to offer support, as well as find others to lean on for accountability. I'd like to add some of you, feel free to add me as well!3 -
Hi all! I'm 34. I work super full-time and go to school. No kids, just cats. I have about 30lbs to lose and would love more friendly support! It's not easy staying on track with a crazy schedule.
I'm not super into diets, but I enjoy clean eating and making new, interesting foods at home in super fast way. (I'm busy and impatient).1 -

I'm 5'2', 35 from California and have lost about 10 lbs since starting in mid July. I'm halfway through my journey and active daily with an open diary. Feel free to add me for support.
That means a lot! Thanks! I started this thread hoping to find just one person willing to be a motivating buddy. To my happy surprise, I stumbled upon the most amazing group of ladies with the best attitudes and more support than I could ever have asked for! Thank you for always being there2 -
I am in my 30's more towards the end. After having kids have lost 12kg (26lbs) with a few more to go. I work out 6 days a week and log what I eat most days. Would love to join in the support to reach our goals1

I'm only 5'2" so every pound shows. My husband can eat and eat and eat and never gains, he's nothing but muscle. I eat a fraction of what he eats & I just keep packing it on! I've gained over 20lbs since our wedding last year. I want to be healthy and feel good about myself again. I'm determined! But I need some support from others who know how I feel. I would love to join in with you guys! Steph
I need to lose 30lb too. I'm only 5ft though1 -
Hello all - I'm 32 and re (re-re-re) starting on here. I lost 80lbs a couple of years ago but have since put 30 back on - trying to hit the brakes and go back down as it upsets me that none of my clothes fit any more. I'm finding it so much harder than the first time, so would love some friends on here for accountability and encouragement! (Unfortunately I'm only 4'11", which means the amount I can eat to lose weight is tiny without hours upon hours of exercise, and every pound shows!!)1

I'm 33, in Texas, and have 50 lbs to go til my goal weight. I'm 15 lbs down so far. I would love some friends in the same boat!1

Im 30 and need to lose about 25-28lbs. I'm 5'6 and weigh 188 on 10/1. I have a 5 month old and work full time. I workout out for 1hour on MWF evenings and sat morning. I would love to workout in the mornings during the week before work but already have to wake up early to take my baby to his sitter. So evenings it is. I live in Atlanta.
I don't want to be skinny, don't really care to have abs. My baby completely ruin the look of my stomach (he was almost 10lbs and I was all belly). lol. I just want to be fitter, stronger and be able to run( yea training to become a runner, I like it). I wear a size 14-16 and would like to wear a size 7/8 or 9/10. Want to look good in my clothes and naked lol. Currently doing IIFYM at 15-20% decrease. So I'm eating a little more then what I was the first time I lost weight and gain it all backed. I want to lose weight slowly this time around so maybe I can learn the right lifestyle eating habits to keep it off long term. Setting in my mind that losing 0.5lbs a week is ok (so I weigh myself every 2 weeks). If I lose 1-2lbs a week, then that is a bonus. Keep pushing and never give up!1 -
Hi everyone. I'm 39 and would love to lose 25 lbs. I have been up and down on my weight since 2009. I either do really well and lose a lot of weight, hit my goals and then get tired of counting calories and working out. One time I took it a little to far and got down to about 105 lbs. Most recently in 2013 while deployed, I started doing weights and eating perfectly and got down to a really nice, tone 120 lbs. As soon as I came home from the deployment I stopped everything. Now I'm here at 150 lbs, the heaviest I've ever been. All the new bigger clothes are getting tight and I have no desire to work out or eat right. It's always easier for me to change my eating habits then it is to get motivated to work out. And I think now that I'm closer to 40 this go-around isn't going to be as easy as it was the previous times.1

Hey all, I'm 34 and need to lose a solid 50-60 lbs. 2 kids, full time employed, married and a dog! I cannot get the weight to budge. Lost an initial 4 lbs, and then it just goes right back to the 194lb mark. I'm 5'5 and need support/help!! I would love to be added to the group.2

Ok friends - 32 here (ouch - I don't like saying that number) - need to lose around 50 pounds total. Short term goal is 20 pounds (I want to get to 150ish). I would love to be able to do that by December 31st. That is going to take some real buckling down - but I sure as heck am aiming for it (Yes - even with holidays around the corner!). Add me! Motivate me! (I'll do my best to motivate back!)3

Happy to find a thread of motivated ladies in their 30s! My cw is 160 and my goal is 130 (ish). Would love to find others that log regularly and provide positive support. Please send a note in a friend request if you have similar goals. Good luck, all!

35 and needing to lose 15 to 20 lbs.
Maybe it doesn't sound like a lot but it seems like even 1 pound is a major struggle for me.
I've always been chubby- I'm kinda short and have an endomorph body type with a major carb & sweet tooth, so no wonder... I did used to lose weight more easily though, but since hitting my 30s and dealing with a slough of female health issues that ended in a hysterectomy I'm now finding weight loss comes VERY SLOW despite eating the best I have in my life, exercising more than I ever have before, and sticking to my calories & macros goals.
Trying to stay vigilant and on course. Somehow this time feels different because I'm on a mission for optimal health, not just to look better/thinner- though that's definitely a welcome side effect! After a major health crisis and being so weak & miserable, and having to fight my way back to good health, I want to do everything in my power to support my health now and in the future, including getting to a healthy weight and having a fit strong body.
Feel free to add me!
I do well with the support & accountability of others.

I'm 31 and would like to lose about 50lbs- jeez it sounds so overwhelming just typing it. My biggest challenge is the pressure I get from my family (especially since I am single and of course they say no one will ever marry me like "this") .. It makes me really mad bc I don't want to lose weight for them, they should accept me the way I am even if I never lost another pound. Ironically, when they stop pressuring me is when I tend to lose the most anyway. I know it's counterproductive to not want to do something good for yourself bc others are demanding it, but it's really hindering me. What can I do?
A lot of people don't understand what an enormously difficult battle it is to lose unwanted weight. The more we are stressed, the harder it is. So, negative feedback is probably making your journey more arduous! Looking at almost 75lbs as my goal was totally overwhelming and seemingly impossible. As many of these fabulous ladies will agree, it's a one day at a time, one pound at a time goal. Celebrate a 5 lbs loss. Celebrate a week when you haven't lost but haven't gained! That's a huge accomplishment! You're in a great support network. We all have different ways and strategies to tackle our goals, but ultimately we are all looking to get to the same place, a healthier, happier you!
A good thing to remember too, NSVs (Non scale victories). While you may not lose weight one week, you may find you fit into that dress or pair of jeans that you couldn't wear two weeks ago!
I too would love friends on a similar journey. I am almost 38 years old and I am looking to lose around 50 lbs. I just hit my 10 lbs down mark! I have an open diary to all friends and I am "nosey" and look at other's diaries too as I sometimes get ideas.
If you want to send a FR, please include a small message so I know you are not trolling or a bot.1 -
