Pet Peeves!

We always put the toilet seat down as it has a habit of falling otherwise and at 3am you're liable to forget it's up and nobody wants to be woken up by cold toilet water.1

I saw something on how far tiny droplets fly out of a toilet when you flush it. If you think about what's in there being spattered all over your bathroom (like on your toothbrush) you might change your mind on this
Yep ..I saw the same thing it freaked me out ..1 -

also... texting and driving. Yes, I'm talking to that teenage girl that slid into the back of me because she was looking at her phone instead of looking at my brake lights.
I know right? This one girl was sitting on a piece of equipment holding up the line on a quick fit circuit for more then half an hour doing her home work online. I asked her to move and the one guy said to leave her alone because we all do workouts differently. She's just sitting there doing nothing for more then half an hour. I mean really. when I asked what she was doing, her response was I'm doing my homework.
It's months later and she's still doing it..... So frustrating. There are tables over by the snack bar. Use them instead.
People come to workout at the gym, not do their homework while sitting on the equipment I mean really, there are more appropriate places to do this.
Talking and texting while driving. This girl was talking on the phone and nearly took out my front fender because of it. The call can wait. In Ontario it's a 500 dollar ticket for distracted driving and 4 demerit points. If this doesn't get you to stop then I don't know what will.
I fully agree! I'm in Ontario too, and I see it everywhere, so it's not stopping them. I've seen guys in big trucks texting as they drive the QEW...I've seen a few cops even, with their faces in their phones....It's scary!
my sisters best friend died because of this
txting is not worth it ever
and yes im in Ontario1 -

I understand what you are saying and agree about driving slow in left lane, however,

People who pass on the right, especially the shoulder should lose their license... turning left with signals on and people do this all the time stop being in hurry. 1) why you in such a hurry? 2) do you know how many wrecks this causes? 3) do you know this is illegal?

When anyone accepts my compliments on their kids and interest in them but never asks about mine. ... So rude . I call these just coffee friends they will never be in my inner circle till they show an interest in my babies ( even if they are 16 now )3

People still using the R word to describe something. I'm not super sensitive, but it's pretty offensive to hear this word. Especially having a special needs child.
People are dumb.

She probably meant on a two lane highway, not a shoulder. At least that's how I took it.
It's a pet peeve of mine as well. Here in Michigan there are signs all along the highways that say stay in the right lane except to pass, but there are always people putting along in the left lane going 10-15mph under the speed limit. They were going to start handing out tickets for that but I don't think it's been effective since it's still common.0 -

When you are approaching a group of people on the sidewalk, and they all remain side by side, expecting you to dart in front of traffic to get by them. Walk single file people! At least allowing others to pass by.
Also, when you hold the door open for someone and they don't say thank you. I want to punch those people in the nose, LOL
When that happens to me I just stop and stand in place and make them walk around me or walk single file. I am not walking in the street or allow them to knock me over.
