Hit my steak at 1000 days this week!

Here's a progress pic of that time - 1000 days ago vs yesterday morning.

1000 days ago I'd already lost a significant amount of weight. In total I've lost over 110lbs.
I eat at a slight deficit. I lift heavy weights 3-4 times a week. I run on alternate days. I follow IIFYM. Happy to make new pals!

DAMN, DANIEL! Every time ive lost larger ish amounts of weight (60-70 lbs range) my stomach always looks so floppy in the end, despite work outs. How did you avoid that plague?

Haha thanks  i lost the majority of my weight really slowly and then added in a progressive heavy lifting programme which has definitely helped!!

    Thanks guys!

My strength training started with completing new rules of lifting for women - I found it to be a really good resource of info and now incorporate a lot of the exercises as my accessories in my current program.
Right now I follow Stronglifts 5x5 and am looking for a new program to follow on from this. I love big compound lifts and getting/feeling stronger!

@ibtmas I have been at this a long time so I know my own calorie sweet spots - I eat around 1800 on days I lift and 1600 on days I don't. Focus is on protein for me

Heya hun, I'm 34 :) never too late to start - honestly!! Lifting weights has so many other benefits that are good for us women such as improving bone density and protecting against osteoporosis!

I started with new rules of lifting for women program - others like strong curves or StrongLifts are also brilliant! I ran StrongLifts for about two years before changing to something more advanced :)
