Today, I'm right back at it, and it feels GREAT.
My biggest takeaway from a special occasion day was that going to bed after a 2000 calorie day doesn't feel that different from a 1250 calorie day and my fears of falling off the wagon were for naught. It was just another day that happened to have more calories because it was special.
I was super nervous because Tuesday AM is my weigh in day. Rationally I know 2000 calories wouldn't show up the next morning (and didn't, I ended up 2.5lbs down for the week). I know I will have to be on-point for the next few weeks to Thanksgiving when there's another "special over calorie day" but I totally feel like I can do it.
You have a great attitude for success. You've also developed the success habits that will guide you through this journey.
To put things in perspective I went on vacation about 3 weeks ago for 8 days. Ate too much, drank too much. I know couple days I probably drank 2000 calories alone. Right now I'm probably a pound over my weight before I left for the trip.
For this to succeed you have to enjoy the journey. I wouldn't have traded anything that I ate or drink when I was on vacation. I firmly believe that if I denied myself when I was on vacation it would eventually lead to failure long-term. Literally the day I came back from vacation I went back to the success pattern that I developed with no regrets and no stress.
I figure if I type it out loud for the Internet to hear, I'll actually believe it!5 -

Having to buy UK size 12 trousers (for the first time since my late teens) because the 15's that were snug are now falling down. :-)11

28" waist for the first time since I was 14! At 38 I have finally achieved what I knew was possible and a good, healthy size for me.36

Went shopping today. I am down a band size in my bra! (up a cup size but the cup seems smaller somehow). Also, I was able to shop in the regular misses section of Kohls!!!!!25

Bought a size L sweat pant instead of an XL. Yeah me!27

My boss asked me how much I've lost so far as she said she can really tell I've lost weight.19

The size of the cup is in relation to the band size. So a smaller band size has a smaller cup as well. Generally a 32DD fits similar to a 34D, whereas the cup on a 34DD is larger than the cup of a 32DD. I hope my explanation makes sense but going down a bandsize and up a cupsize makes sense

Sometimes I feel cute. Other times - as recently as last night - I catch a glimpse of me in the mirror and I am still disgusted by what I see. Course, then this morning happens...I get out of bed in my boxer-briefs and a non-baggy Tshirt and I walk past my mirror and am startled. Holy *kitten*. My legs are so thin - except for all the muscle. I can see my thighs flex and my hips look great and my package isn't LITERALLY in a shadow under my gut. And my gut is invisible from this angle...and I see my shoulders and arms and chest starting to form the lines of what will be a very, very attractive man. Someday. The process IS the victory.48

You totally rock!!! And happy birthday btwIt was my hubby's birthday too so you share a special day.
I absolutely love your attitude! It's just what we need to do this and hit our goals! Way to go4 -
that I could not loose any weight for a month and not give up!
i focused on just keep going and doing what has worked and it will work again. it was easy when the pounds are falling off but when the scale has a pause I could keep going and focus on all tje nsv I see instead of getting g discouraged and giving up.
I bought pants from costco!! they only go up to a 16 and I haven't been able to buy clothes from costco in many years! I choose to focus on the good things!22 -
The first person who didn't know I was trying to lose weight noticed - she said that I looked amazing and that my face has changed so much! It was the waitress at Steak n' Shake. We used to eat there a couple of times a week, but I've cut it down to once every two weeks, and she noticed the change in my size. She also warned me not to lose "too much" weight. I wanted to say, "I'm 5'5" and 200 lbs - I'm faaarrrr from being underweight!" but I just thanked her for the compliment. I had assumed the first "Don't lose too much weight" warning would come from my mom - not from a fast-food waitress!23

I was at a work event and saw people I only see once or twice a year. I was complimented on how great my clothes were. It was really that I;m a lot smaller- but hey I gracefully accepted the compliment!17

I had a couple of PR's. I squatted 95 lbs (REALLY afraid of my knee slipping out, which is why I've been going slowly with it), and got my hip ab/adductions both up to 175!13

I realized the other day I am now tying my gym shoes in the center, instead of off to the side.30

I went for my annual physical. After a 50 lb wt loss and 1 year of maintenance; the MD did not talk about high blood pressure, did not talk about high cholesterol, did not talk about wt loss, did not talk about insomnia. The MD and I DID talk about lifting, form, Cross-Fit, stretching; and the words "I am proud of you" was spoken.67

Started a Strong Curves program this week and finished my second workout today! *so swole* ;P18

Applause!!!!!6 -
When I stepped on the scale today I didn't have to move my belly out of the way to see my weight.40
-
I did 50 pushups last night - 5 sets of 10. Never thought that was ever, ever possible! It wasn't actually that bad to do, but I'll admit I'm just a little sore today...30
-
A nice woman at work said she didn't recognize me from the back and asked what I had done to lose the weight. Felt great!20

I so love the irony in this non scale victory24 -
2 for this week:
1. set a PR for my rack pull lift yesterday!
2. put on a pair of 34 waist jeans this morning fresh from the closet, fastened them up and let go - then had to catch them because they were trying to slid past my hips! guess I will have to dig out the 33's from the back of the closet to wear now!16 -

Holy hell man! Radiate your sexy self from the inside and sure as shizza your outside will match that! but I get it ....working hard and you want to totally LOVE what you see in the mirror. Keep pushin!!!!7 -
Went through my clothes this morning and I get to get rid of another bag of clothes because they just don't fit anymore!16

my NSV today is acknowledging the sense of freedom that becomes more and more palpable to me as I move around my life now.16
