There's no minimum. I was intimidated to start because I vary in my amount of steps per day. A friend on MFP recommended this group to me. I posted on this thread I was scared and people were supportive.
And-any movement is better than no movement, so YOU GO FOR IT!4 -
11/1: 5,032 steps/ 1.89 miles
11/2: 5,805 steps/ 2.18 miles6 -
11/1 - 7,380 steps or 3.09 miles - my goal is 10k a day but that is probably not realistic for me.
Will update tomorrow with 11/2 total - so far over 10K2 -
11-2, 10,356 steps and 6.13 miles. Met my goal of 10,000 steps a day. Yay3

anything you like, any steps, amount, whatever you want. The challenge is to gradually do more for yourself. Not in competition with anyone else. Just for you3 -

Slept late this morning, so had to take my walk tonight. I don't like that as much as early mornings, because it is not as cool outside; there is more traffic; i always have to pee Still, i managed 3.27 miles!

Goals:- Take a walk every day.

Working on that 60 min of exercise a day. Starting with walking the dogs. 38 min yesterday, 50 today. Fitbit numbers are moving up!4

I'm back from October Walking Challenge, and really enjoyed it! October goal was 263,500 steps and I finished with 319,004 steps/118.6 miles.
My November goal is 330,000.5 -

Walking is my only exercise as I have two little tikes with me constantly and no access to a car right now so this challenge is great for me as I will rack up the numbers inevitably.
I've never used my fitbit as I should so this will be interesting to see how much ground I will actually cover in 30 days.

I'm taking an imaginary Walk Across Texas: 857 miles down I-10, from the Louisiana border to El Paso. Since June 1st, I have walked 369.47 miles. I have reached Kerrville, TX (mile 369)!! Next stop: Mountain Home, TX (mile 387).
