I would like some weight loss buddies to join with me in losing 25lbs. by Oct. 1st. Anyone interested in going on this journey with me??
I am leaving Oct. 3rd. on holidays to Hawaii & would like to be down another 25lbs. by then. I know it is not much time
to lose that amount but any amount would be wonderful! That is just my goal. But I need some company (competition) to keep me motivated. I have lost 1.2lbs, in the past couple of days, so I plan to lose 5lbs this month & 10lbs in Aug & Sept.We are in summer month's so should be able to get some extra exercise in! Hope some of you will join me!!

Ok I am overwhelmed with the response to this post. Very happy that so many of you are joining me on the journey, but I did not expect that everyone would want to become MFP . I have had over 60 request to be my Pal. Everytime I go to my hotmail account there are 20 more, lol. All I want is to see your progress reports on this posting so I know I am not alone on this challenge. Wishing you all a great journey to a 25lb. loss. That is up to each individual how they lose the weight. Of course we all know it is best to eat healthy & get your exercise in at least 3-4 days a week. This site will give you your ideal calorie goal to lose the weight you need to lose. I plan to keep under my calorie goal & get more exercise in than I have been in the past to make my challenge of 25lbs by Oct. 1. Wishing you all the best loss you can do in that time!!!0

I'm up for the challenge. . . I hope. Lol. I love food way too much:). My weight yesterday morning was 209. In march, I was all the way down to 185, but I made many bad choices and here I am back at the beginning. I'm a little beaten down, but I'm picking myself back up. I have once again dusted off my running shoes, and I am logging everything! So let's do this thing!!!0

I'll be cheering y'all on towards your goal!! 2.08 pounds a week is going to take a really positive attitude, a lot of food planning, a very generous sprinkling of exercise and a well-hydrated body. It might be more than I can do right now, but I will be your cheerleader!!

I'm in! my wedding anniversary is in October and it will be a year since my mom has passed due to complications of being diabetic and she is the reason I'm trying to be a healthy person! To be her only child who isn't diabetic. I'm breaking the cycle!!

Saturdays are my usual weigh in day and because the challege ends on a saturday it works out pretty well. I weighed myself in this morning and lost 3.4 pounds this week! That is my biggest drop since i started MFP June, 13th. It felt great to see that number this morning. I want to contribute it to eating pretty balanced this last week.

Ok ladies. What have u planned to take this weight off? What have u given up? What have u swapped for something more healthy? What are your daily or weekly goals? Exercise or food goals?
I have decided to start walking at work during my 30 minute break. I work 3 12 hour night shifts per week, so that will add 90 minutes onto my weekly exercise. Also, I am dedicated to intervals on my treadmill 2-4 times per week. AND I am planning on starting up Jillian's 30 day shred next week. I need to figure out where the DVD went. Lol. Anyway, one step at a time. I started running again 3 weeks ago, started walking at work last week, started cutting my carbs yesterday (aiming for around 100 per day). I'm all fired up!!!! Who is with me?????0 -

Had a great week last week but the weekend was a bust (niece's wedding)! Now the goal is to get back on track! Water, working out, and under calories seems to be the trick for me to get it all to click. Thanks JosieMomGramm for starting this group. I wish you all luck!0
