            Nope. It's been a long time since I deadlifted. I really need to get back to it. 12 hours is a long time to be away from something you love so much.14

            Yes on DLs. I mostly do non-barbell squats like hex, goblet and Zercher, for the upper body workout.

            Deadlifts arent bad for you if done correctly. Your lower back has muscles that need to be trained which is why lower back pain is so common. I suggest learning all you can about deadlifts and putting them into your workouts2
