    Deadlifts arent bad for you if done correctly. Your lower back has muscles that need to be trained which is why lower back pain is so common. I suggest learning all you can about deadlifts and putting them into your workouts

    I do because there is no extra floor space! We're kind of tripping on and squeezing between equipment as it is.

    Those muscles can be trained without doing deadlifts.

    I leg press like 600lbs so I really don't see a need for squats and deadlifts are bad for your back. No thank you!

    Agreed, no one cares how much you can deadlift or squat anyway. I just curl. Now THAT's a proper exercise.
