I gotta ask, can a young male eat 3 or more eggs a day? I had a family member say that eating a egg everyday will harden your arteries; advise help needed sirs and madams.

I know a lot of people that do and have no health problems

It's fine. Cholesterol in food has very little effect on your cholesterol level so there's no problem eating eggs.3

Cake sandwiches are better.21

I remember hearing the hardening the arteries back in the early 80's. OP this has since been debunked many, many times.13

Just like everyone has been replying to you in the many threads you've created.
Eat what the crap you want, just stick with your calories. It really works.
Eat. What. You. Want. Just. Count. The. Calories.
That myth has been loooooooong debunked. Don't worry. I am glad you ask here instead of reading some crap online and just believing it. Eggs are good for you. And as others have said, dietary cholesterol hardly has an affect on your body's cholesterol level.8 -

During my CKD runs, I eat upward of five dozen eggs per week. Still waiting to die.6

For the purposes of weight loss/maintenance, the number of eggs you eat has no influence as long as you stay below your calories. The protein will help you feel full (making it easier to stick to calorie limits) and eggs are just really convenient.
For cholesterol, I'm pretty sure overall dietary cholesterol has been proven to have no effect on blood (serum) cholesterol, but eggs also have saturated fat in which does raise serum cholesterol in general. Also, my understanding is that dietary cholesterol is important to restrict for diabetics. So, if you don't have any cholesterol/diabetic problems, this isn't an issue for you, but if you do, you might want to rethink it or look at it closer.5 -

Usually from supplementing the hens diet with flaxseed.1 -
I eat between 6 and 12 eggs a day for the last 4 years and have had no adverse health or medical issues.10

I go through about 3 of the 2.5 dozen egg flats a week.
my dinner egg scramble is usually 3-5 whole eggs and 4-8 egg whites.
I'm still fabulous and healthy.6 -
You know what else is fantastic? Chicken breast omelette with a touch of ground livers. It's like eating the entire family tree in one meal.
Damn, I need to make a store run after the gym today.7 -

If you have a genetic predisposition to high cholesterol then I would watch egg consumption (as well as other fats) but that aside, eggs are fine. I eat 4 whole eggs a day and am perfectly healthy...1 -
If one must eat eggs, it is good to note that the cholesterol considered in them are "good cholesterol". Go for it.0

Or just from letting them forage in pasture--just like grass-fed beef is higher in omega-3s than grain-fed beef.0 -
