i have not stopped. but probably have one or two alcoholic drinks per week now instead of many more than that per day

Awesome progress! How much weight have you lost? What lifting routine have you been following?
I probably have a few drinks once a month. I have noticed that it has a negative impact on my workouts (lifting specifically). It isn't long lasting tough - it is usually just the next workout.

Thanks bioklutz! I went from 187lbs down to 155lbs, and currently sitting at 160lbs. I followed some pretty basic principles, targeting each major muscle group throughout the week. Week by week I'd mix up the days I trained the muscle groups and randomize the order of the exercises as often as I could. Every workout is ended with cardio, and 2 to 3 times weekly was core work.1 -
