Joining today. No eating after 7:30.
I find I end up mindlessly snacking when watching TV (husband loves his chips and I end up joining him). Do I stop watching TV, find something else to do with my hands, ban chips, get rid of husband? Just kidding about the husband! Seriously, does anyone have things that work for them?
Well I haven't been following my own advice but I think a hot cup of flavored tea which you really enjoy helps. My Christmas goodies in the house are getting the best of me.
Another idea is to allow myself a special treat at some time during the day, like a cup of coffee with a store bought biscotti, usually under 120 calories. A nice treat if you eat it slowly with your coffee. I know there are much healthier snacks but I haven't been able to quit the sweet treats.1 -

Emotions trigger LNS. I am counting yesterday as LNS though I ate Unplanned foods during the day. I really need to work on EMOTIONS = LNS3 -

I was half successful last night! I didn't finish the snickerdoodle I grabbed, I ate half and put the other half in a zip log bag and put it way as a treat for tomorrow. I then walked into the kitchen 30 minutes later and my husband was finishing the cookie.4 -

Holiday shopping late at the Mall. Didn't stop for dinner until 9:30. Dinner was under calories for day but I snacked when I got home and went over calorie goals. Lesson: eat healthy calories during day, don't skip meals all day (not intentional, just busy all day). Knew this would be a tough month but Happy I made 13 days into Dec. Starting over. Next challenge: cookie baking this weekend.2 -
