This week's successes: Just over 2 weeks in, 4.8 pounds down! 19-day streak tracking! Two days skiing over the long weekend.
This week's challenges: Getting enough protein. I am trying to stick near 1700 calories and eat about 30% carb/35% fat/35% protein (which puts me at about 160 grams protein, it is tough!)
I hope everyone is having a great week!8 -

This week’s successes: Logged every day; tried to log before eating to make sure I stayed within daily calorie goal. Switched from regular soda to one diet a day. Went to store and bought more foods that are higher in protein and less carbs as that is what seems to be missing in my foods. Love that MFP tells me the details I need to ensure a nutritious food plan. Refuse to call it a DIET, as this is a new lifestyle for me.
This week’s challenges: Dinner guest and dining out this weekend; but I have a plan to stay on track. My husband is the cook in our family and is very supportive of me.
This week’s goals: Continue with tracking foods. Not meeting 8 glasses of water, so increase intake. Make small changes to not get discouraged.

Weekly Loss: 1.6
Challenge Loss: 6.4
GW: Approx. 156 based on my body fat % goal
This week's successes: My eight year old has been sick, so I had a lot of interrupted sleep and much more sedentary time than normal (snuggle time). I weighed and tracked all my food. I got in four solid workouts (though I didn't track them all). Only ate one plain cupcake for my husband's birthday yesterday.
Upcoming week's challenges: Sleep and time. Consistently working out with kettlebells and lifting while on a calorie deficit can leave me pretty fatigued. Also, this week brings many activities for my four kids so I'll need to be sure I keep my eating in check and get my workouts in. I also have a goal to track all my workouts. My Polar H7 will be arriving today and I'm hoping that makes it easier. I do have a HRM with a watch, but I can't wear it all the time with kettlebells since some moves would smash the watch.
