Hi! Just reading through everyone's posts and I am impressed with the commitment being demonstrated by the group. Getting close to the halfway mark of the challenge already! I am going to keep plugging away at this although yesterday I was feeling tired of having to watch what I eat so closely. Anyone else get those moods? Doing better mentally today.

I've never worked so hard for 1lb in my life!! My Fitbit "dashboard" says "Exercise 7 out of 6 Days" hahahaha. I think the resistance training, coupled with longer/more-intensive cardio sessions is beginning to kick in, or I surely hope so!

A little disappointed these last couple of weeks. I'm really doing well on the calories (1200 per day) and walking but seem to have plateaued anyway. Perhaps I'll see a change next week. I need to learn patience hence my profile picture. It's good to see everyone's progress. This challenge is really helping me stay focused. My diet is improving as I go choosing healthy foods and staying away from empty calories. Note to self: Just keep going.6 -

Aaaack! Going to find a bridge to jump off!! I have gone every single day to the gym for 20 days for 45-60 min of cardio, have religiously tracked my calories and fats, sugars, carbs, etc and have only one time gone like 50 calories over and have gone down to 161.5 and then up to 164 and now 163. There is no way that number won't eventually shake loose so I am going to keep going as if that number was lower. I HAVE, however, gone down 3-4 inches overall, so I am hoping the weight is maybe because I am gaining muscle. My pants are not as tight, so something is happening. AND I feel so much happier from going to the gym every day so that is a bonus result that I am really so happy to have. Next Sunday, I will be at a lower weight or I am just going to throw that scale out. See you next week! I hope everyone is having better luck with their scales than I am.6 -

I totally was aware of going over in calories a few days this week, and the scale really didn't move. I was really munchy and ravenous, but I think I got it out of my system. Back to it this week! I have two intense workouts planned for tomorrow, so it's a good way to start the new month.3 -
