Managed to avoid sweets all day but I did cave on my Paleo (caveman) diet. We had a new restaurant open in town and it was calling my name. So wifey and me had a lunch date that kind of went off the Paleo track.
Oh well, I'm back on track and hoping there is enough time between now and Friday morning to make a difference. I try not to sneak a peek of the scales between weigh-ins, so we'll see what happens Friday morning. I'll check back in then.

I'm late to the game, but can I still join?! This past month and a half have not been my best. Waaay too much sugar! Need to kick the habit.
Starting: 187
Goal: 130
Current: 157
Total lost: 30
This week's success : get back to level of working out prior to injury
This week's challenge: sugar7 -
Welcome new peeps! It's never too late to join.
Today is my 47th birthday, and the best gift I've given to myself is feeling better about myself. My clothes fit better, I have more energy, and I've lost 8.6 pounds since January 1st.12 -

Huh, I'm in.
Starting weight: 244
Goal weight: 150
Current weight: 228.6
Total weight lost: 15.4
This week's successes: Finally made it to accountability. Learned a lot about how to combat the emotions that lead to saying "I don't care" eating. Ate more carbs than I should have but still made great choices for vday dinner.
This week's challenges: Putting ^those into practice. Figuring out meals so I'm not "bored".6 -

Great attitude stormywxs288
My diary for Valentines Day is over calories by almost my daily allotment. Granted I had to estimate for a lunch buffet and I try to go high, but the steak for dinner was a ribeye and not lean, plus I had drinks, plus some chocolate, plus other things. I enjoyed myself and am moving on. I will try to eat under the rest of this week to keep my average down. I love the nutrition bar graph on the app where I can see my weekly average of calories.Today is my 47th birthday ...
Happy Birthday

Thanks for this thread Jill!! Exciting!!
"We can do this.... 1 pound a week." Very reasonable!! I need to focus on just what was stated... "more exercise, veggies, fruit & protein... && Less junk and overeating."
My week is best to track Monday- Sunday -- with weigh in's on Friday when I will post and update stats.

Starting weight: 226.4 lbs
Goal weight: 155 lbs
Current weight: 211.4 lbs
Total Weight Loss so far: 15 lbs
This week's successes: 15 lbs gone! Much nicer weather, so back to walking 4-5km every day. Average steps for this week are 10,396.
This week's challenges: Getting to bed on time. We are walking in the evenings after dinner now, so my bed-time routine has had to change, and its taken me a few days to get into a workable routine.
This week's quote: "If you don't like where you are, change it. You are not a tree." ~ a repeat from last week, but still so relevant for this week aswell!
P.S. Happy Birthday @jm216

Week 3: (3/17)
Starting weight: 175 (1/30/17)
Goal weight: 140ish
Current weight: 171.5 (2/17)
Loss this week: +0.4
Total weight lost: 3.6
This week's successes: Tracked all week, ate with purpose,. Exercised all week. Added a few new activities. Got on a snowboard instead of skis yesterday for the first time in more than 15 years. I think the weight gain, which was all this morning, was from water. I am so sore. Having to teach a 10 y.o. to snowboard when all he wants to do is fall is hard work.
This week's challenges: Knees are better, so exercise is coming along. I have always had trouble between weeks 3 and 6, when I get past it I tend to stick with it. But I know these are the hard weeks for me. My body holds on to everything and I actually gain weight no matter what I do for a few weeks, then I will see a good drop again. It is very frustrating, but I have known it was coming. SO I have to suck it up buttercup... I am sticking with this... it worked last week, and as I thought, the scale didn't move. (well it moved, but not in the right direction, lol) But it will, I just have to keep going. I have more energy and am feeling great. I can do this.8 -

Thanks, it is a bit easier this time. It is the first time I have used this app for more than just tracking. I have joined 3 different groups and I have to say I am loving the support I am getting. It is nice to not be going this alone; to know that others are right there with you and your struggles are not unique, well it is helpful to me. Hope you have a great day!
