2017~~52 Pounds in 52 Weeks Challenge

Yeah, it's been a real workout. I am about half way with the walls. Lots of prep time caulking, etc. Unfortunately, there is no category for "painting" in the options to choose from. No idea how many calories I burned, but my muscles are telling me a LOT.
Thanks.
There is a category for cleaning. My guess is you're working at least that much or more. Anyway, that category burns 4 cals per minute or 240 per hour. I would make your own category. I'd call it functional fitness and use a rate of 250 cal/hour. I'll bet you are working even harder than that but that would at least get you closer than not logging anything for all that work. Good luck and keep up the good WORK3 -

Goal weight: 175
Last week weight: 220.7
This week weight: 216.7
This week's loss. 4.0 pounds (part water)
Total weight loss: 9.7
This week's successes: The last full week of February turned out to be a good week for me. I knew my weight would be down because I was retaining water at the last weigh in; I had been in full bloat. I am now getting a little wiggle room in my weight loss total and that makes me happy. Somewhere down the line there will be a bad week. Got some new leg exercises completed. Not given lay off notice – always a good thing – but there are still 4 months to go.
Last week's challenges review:
Get the bloat off and weigh in at most at 218.4 next Monday.
Drink 64 oz. of water every day - make sure the bloat comes off. Plus that is one of my group challenges for this week.
Finalize taxes and submit. I want that refund
Get my group videos challenges done by Thursday. Got the challenges done, but not until Sunday, the last day.
Do at least one foot massage this week – because they are awesome and free. Did not do this.
This week’s challenges:- Give up cheese for the week for a group challenge. This is not easy as I use cheese on salads and I was planning on a couple melt style sandwiches this week. Have to redo my meal plan. I recommend chunks of Asiago cheese in a salad. Like feta or blue, but a different taste.
- Continue the obscene amounts of water daily. I found this helped with satiety last week.
- Keep up my exercise – walk at least 10K this week. (6.2 miles)
I want to go thru and see how many have dropped off this thread. If I have the chance I will PM them to come back.

Week 6:
Starting weight (1/2/17): 256.4
Last Weight (2/19/17): 243.2
Current weight (2/25/17): 243.8
This weeks loss: gain of 0.6
Total weight loss since 1/2/17: 12.6
This week success: I am having trouble finding a success in this week.....but I got up, got on the scale and made myself be accountable for the choices I made.
This week challenge: had family in town for most of this week and it was difficult. Eating out alot and trying to make better choices but finding very little support for my healthy choices (i.e. "here have a taste, it won't wreck your diet" or "make this your cheat day" or something like that). I didn't always make the right choice and I beat myself up about it.
This week just made me feel like a failure. I know I am not.....look at how far I have come, it is just hard to see right now. I just wish I could get people around me to understand what I go through when it comes to food. Just hoping that I can break this FUNK that I am in!
HAVE A GREAT WEEK EVERYONE!6 -
Height: 6'0"
Starting weight:206 (Feb 11th)
Goal weight:175
Current weight:195
Total weight lost:11 lbs.
This week's successes: Keeping at it and remembering to eat on a normal schedule.
This week's challenges: Finding time and motivation in the moment to exercise.
Finding time and remembering to exercise at the same time has been my major challenge. I feel majorly accomplished for getting my eating habits under control though. I keep detailing exercise plans, hoping to create one that is fun and sticks. Either way, trying different plans keeps me exercising! Maybe I'll just make a new plan every week and see if I can do it at least 3 times?5 -

Would be interesting and even motivational to some to find out what percentage are either still participating or dropped out.3 -

I found it frustrating exercising and not losing so I went the other way and stopped. So while I've lost weight the last couple of weeks my belly feels a bit more wobbly. I've decided to concentrate more on exercise and body measurements over the next couple of weeks.
On another note, a 1000 calorie deficit with all that exercise- your body hasn't gone into starvation mode has it?5
