I'm on track.....feeling tired today.....but it's Friday......woohoo! Got my cardio in....day 3......let's do this!2

Today the real challenge begins as I have more funds available. I am also counting fast food as items in that category that I would buy from the store. So, no fries, burgers, chicken patties, yada, yada, yada. I am feeling hungry, but I think it's really just cravings as I have already eaten. I just have to hold on until my body adjusts to me not turning to food when I'm bored or having some emotional crisis or just tired.
Day 1: Check
Day 2: Check

Hi, I`m in! i started 3 days ago so far so good. Staying busy and getting my excersize in .2

I love that someone made a board for this. I had decided consistent logging would be my goal rather than food elimination. And I would log even if I totally overdo it.6

I'm well into day 3 and doing good so far! Logged everything Day 1 & 2 and was under my calories both days. I'm also logging every bite, so today should be a little weird. I started the day with my usual healthy breakfast but then ended up at Costco (oh no! samples!) and then the major part of the day prepping food for my daughter-in-laws baby shower for tomorrow. It was all healthy stuff and I tried to keep track in my head (3 slices of turkey breast, 1 thin slice of ham, 20 grapes, etc). That was lunch, LOL! Dinner is going to be a clean-out-the-refrigerator kind of deal as we will be out of town for a couple days. Luckily, there's nothing terribly fattening hanging around anyway.
Still no alcohol, so that's going well. My hubby committed to a dry March, as well. By the time we get to April 1st he may just continue until Easter.
Great job everyone!1 -
I completed another day of logging, no fast food, and exercised. I'm doing pretty good with food. I am not doing too well with water though.0

Who's with me? We'll all look even more fabulous by Easter
Fine. But isn't that what we always do? I've been logging continuously for 289 days now. That's 7 times 40.0 -
I am all for that include me !! this is real motivation as I really have lent as my goal to change my lifestyle all around and three days in and I am doing just that!!0

Son away on a school trip this week so extra time available to get back into regular exercise. That combined with tracking everything should give me a positive result by the end of the week!
I'm under my calorie goal again today too. Actually 434 calories under, which is a good deficit.1 -
I'm a few days late joining in....but I'm in and really looking forward to it. I am giving up sweets for lent...which will be a challenge seeming sweets are at least 30% of my diet.3

I have logged for almost 300 days now, and it is so hard to log on days I overdo it, so I can totally relate. It feels good to be honest with yourself, though. Good luck and Happy Lent!3 -
Day 4...... holding strong......was a good day! Pushed myself @'the gym....ate well.....did have a cocktail....but was in my calories.....1

Day 5. I ran a 10k race yesterday (Saturday) so my eating was all over the place. Back on track with my logging and eating today. Looking forward to singing at mass with the gospel choir I'm in. All that stepping and clapping has to burn a few calories! Off for a walk with kids later too.
Have a great day.2 -
Logged in yesterday. Did not get my 5 days of exercise last week like I wanted too. But, I'm going to get it done this week.2

Holding strong without coffee, and finding I enjoy using the extra 200 or so calories for other things besides half and half.5
-
Monday Day 6 - logged all my food yesterday - went over on calories but generally a healthy day. New week fresh start today everyone.1
-
Logged all my food yesterday and started day 1 of 5 of my exercise for this week.1

Hello all! So glad to find this group! I just started using MFP. For lent I gave up FB and wine and added MFP. I have more time to concentrate on my fitness goals and log and plan my food and activities. So far down 3.5 lbs, keep on keeping on everyone!5

After losing the same 3lbs over and over for weeks due to weekends of excess I am proud to say that I made it through the weekend 0.8lbs lighter than I was Friday morning and 0.2lbs lighter than my previous lowest weight.
Particularly proud as I had a family party on Saturday and still managed to keep to target. Feels good to be back on track and losing 'new' weight!6 -
I'm holding strong....in my calories, logging, & exercise.......thanks everyone....this is a great group!4

Hi, to add someone you click on their username which will open a separate box, click on their name again and it opens a separate page where you have the option to send a friend request.2 -

Great work! I know what you mean by the same 3 pounds; I'm the same. Great eating all week then spoil it at the weekends.3 -

I am impressed! My husband is giving up coffee, as well, I was not brave enough to try. Happy Lent to you!0 -
5 days straight - God's grace - weighed my food, no bingeing, radical self love.4

Day 7 Tuesday. Logged every bite yesterday- went over my daily allowance but I'm aiming to gradually reduce my daily calories this week to be within mfp allowance. Step goal on Fitbit is 12k per day, most days I hit that without too much difficulty.1

Yesterday was harder than usual to stick to daily calories. Today seems normal. Wish i could figure out why that happens!0

This has been me today, I've been unusually hungry. Definitely makes it tougher to stay strong!0
