That's the sort of question that neither of us would ask. She goes and gets what she wants. We are not wealthy and don't have compulsive shopping mental illnesses. We communicate and she knows what she can get without further discussion and what needs further discussion. I do too.0

Same here, raised old school, never quit, never cry because someone out worked or out hustled you.

No I would not personally. Me and mine joke and kid about this all the time. He has a couple of these celebrity crushes himself, we should put up his and her posters in the gym cause he knows my crushes.. Heck I might have a girl crush on his crush...lol
we get a laugh about it and we do like to kid and joke, it keeps conversations fun and interesting.3 -

I need an in between. I want my future children to know that you win some and you lose some but I also want them to know that it's okay to be upset about things sometimes.
And what's weird about the millennial generation is that gen x says that we all need a trophy for everything but gen x'ers are our parents, they are the ones that insisted we all get a trophy in the first place lol.

I told my son: if you're ever inclined to visit one of those places, instead just drive down the freeway and roll down your car window and toss a couple of hundred dollars into the wind. Come home and bang your head on the side of our home. I just saved you several hours of precious time.2
