What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

I need to get out of this mental plateau I've been stuck on since Jan 1. I've bounced around as low as 195 (after a 3-day intestinal bug) and as high as 203 but averaging right around 201. Will stick to plan for 3-4 days and then binge. Sure I'm maintaining, but not in a healthy way. So my next mini goal is to figure this out and move past it.
I am rooting for you Sarah. I know just how you feel. The last few pounds have been a bit of a struggle. I hope you get back on track, soon.4 -

Cuz that 10K I'm registered for is in 15 days!
As soon as I got home from work, I changed my clothes and walked that treadmill! Then Sat. and Sun. walked dog 3 and 3.56 miles respectively.
My goal is to beat my 2016 time for the same 10K event, this year on April 1. Hoping the snow stays away too!
Mission accomplished! I walked in the Badger State Brewing 10K this morning with a time of 1:35:42....that's 2:05 faster than last year's event. Average pace of 15:26 / mile. I am so happy!10 -
Mini goal is to drink 2.5 L of water a day and 8 hours sleep6

Getting out of the obese bmi. 7.6 pounds to go.9

I have two mini goals that feel like major milestones I expect to reach this month:
1. Run a mile
2. Lose 100 lbs
I'm seriously excited about both.14 -
Still trying to get 10 pull-ups in a row. I'm up to EIGHT!14

Haven't seen my mom since September 2015. I've lost 40 pounds in 2016.. I see her in 35 days. I'd like to loose another 10 before I see her.. Not sure if that's realistic or not but I'm going to try!14

I'm rooting for Everyone. These mini goals are what is keeping me sane through the process. I just hit the mini-goal of 10% of my starting weight!! I am pretty jazzed about that. Now I just have to maintain that loses while working towards the next one which is 2.2 lbs from here. Doesn't seem like much but these days, things are moving SLOWLY. If I make it, it will be the lowest I have weighed since having kids 11 years ago.....8

After I hit my mini goal of 125 and a 28 inch waist I got a new job and pretty much maintained since then. Next mini goal is 120 and a 27 inch waist!5

I just started a ballet exercise I found on you tube today. I took dancing for 16 years in my youth, but it's been 15 years since I've danced like that. My mini goal is to be able to do the grande battements (high kicks) past my waist again. I used to be able to kick my nose. I'm so far from that right now.12

i want to become a left-sided cyclist. i'm not saying that 15 years of right-dominant cycling caused the pelvic rotation that's locked my s.i. on that side, but i'm saying that giving my left side this chance to even the score can't make things worse.
man, you think teaching your non-dominant hand how to write is hard; you ought to try this. i keep falling over5 -

... I didn't even know that was a thing!6 -

nor does my brain. 'other foot? what other foot??? this is the foot we [fill in blank] with, isn't it? is there some other foot you never told me about?' yeah, the left one.
there's a lot of unilateral stuff in cycling. mount, dismount, putting a foot down at an intersection, starting off again, standing up . . . you can only ever do everything one foot at a time, and my entire neuro-system is used to using the right foot for doing it all. the amount of bike time i do, that adds up so i'm trying to balance it out.6 -
My employer-sponsored health risk assessment is June 2. I want to be in a lower range related to weight / BMI than last year's HRA.4

Two sets of NINE last night!12 -
Concept2's rowing season ends April 30th. I'm determined to reach 1M meters on the rowing machine by then. I have 142,159m to go.
Then the Marathon Challenge is early May, so I'll put the high training meters to work by doing a half-mary. That's 21,097 in one session. I'm up to 15,000 right now and adding 1k per week.5 -
5K was great, and doctor's appointment was even better. BMI was 31, and I lost nearly 6% of my body fat. I met all of my goals above so now I'm shooting for the 160's, specifically 6.5 more lbs away so I can officially become overweight! I know that is weird but I was super morbidly obese at my highest (BMI of 69.6) and even when I started consulting this doctor for help (BMI of 58.1). My non-scale goals are to lower my time/increase my speed when I practice the bike route this weekend for my upcoming triathlon, to get further up the killer hill at the end of the route before T2, and to practice a transition this weekend.12

Made it to ONEderland...yay!
Next...- Lose 10lbs
- I will probably have to order my wedding dress by the end of June....so I'm trying to kick it up a notch these next three months. I'm thinking of adding in C25K, as I know running melts inches off me even though I hate to run lol! I currently already do boxing 4 days a week, a Zumba like class 3 days a week, BodyPump 3 days a week, and StrongLifts 3 days a week. I'm thinking I can add in C25K during my lunch breaks MWF. By June I'll probably definitely cut the running, and maybe eliminate a Zumba and BodyPump. I want to transition to more heavy lifting and more boxing!

Trying to get down 10 more lbs by May 1st.

Freaking -1.58 lbs a week.6

Right now, I'm looking to be under 200 at my morning weigh in every day for a week. I was at 199.6 & 199.8 Sunday and Monday then back up to 202 yesterday, 201 this morning so I have hope that maybe next week can be that week.
NSV Goal is to have to get another hole added to my custom belt that I bought at the Renaissance Festival a couple years ago. The guy measured me and put two tighter holes & two looser holes when I bought it. At one point jumped to one of the looser ones and now I'm on the tightest. Festival kicks back up in August - I want to have to go track that guy down again and make him put a few more tighter holes in!5 -
Well, I was hoping to be leaner and more toned for my vacation to Florida next month.... but I was sick a lot in March and then just got off track. I am getting back on track now. So.... new goal is to work hard so I can feel comfortable in a swimsuit and shorts this summer. I have thunder thighs and have always been self conscious about my legs and booty.
I wish everyone much success on their own individual fitness journeys. You've got this!!!6 -
Getting back to a 300lbx5 deadlift (without wraps or hooks) after my wrist surgery.
The scapholunate ligament is really supposed to stay attached to both bones at all times, apparently.
It isn't a big goal, but it is something to start with.
6 -
bikini shopping! i was 80lbs heavier last year and definitely did NOT own a bikini. i just need to lean out the last little bit. also, i'll be visiting one of my oldest friends in nashville this month so there's that!10

Since I finished c25k running pretty slowly, my mini goal is now to get my 1 mile time to under 10 minutes by the end of the month.9

Getting fit for Comic Con this April 22nd.
Not gonna be cosplaying being it's my first time going, and wanna see what it'll look like first. But I bought my FIRST PAIR of skinny jeans and wanna be rockin' in those skinnies with my very own artwork on a T-shirt.
((Avatar: The Last Airbender. Toph's hair is a knotted mess - from an episode - and I always imagined Momo popping his head out of her hair, and Aang asking. "Where's Momo?" So I drew the whole thing free hand and digitally colored it with lettering underneath saying. "Where's Momo?" Then sent it via ebay and paid for someone to add the image onto a shirt.))
AND, I also have that very shirt sent to a lady down our road who sews. She's refitting it.
I was a women's XXL-XXXL MANY years ago. Even an XL in men's. And the shirt was made when I was a Lrg in men's. And this is a man's shirt.
So, it is being cut apart and SEWN DOWN to be a FITTED size MEDIUM women's T-shirt.
As Cyborg off of Teen Titans Go would proclaim. "Boo-ya!"9 -
