    Thanks for creating the thread again, @35dollars !

    I thought about increasing my goal now that the weather is nicer, but I'll miss the first week of the month due to a work trip... So I'll stay with my usual goal, 150km.

    I'm back for April! My goal this month is my usual 300 miles. Should be able to do that, I hope. Training plan is a bit wacky with TrainerRoad, though, so we shall see.

    I'm back! Joined in late in March, and failed to achieve my meager goal, but that just means nowhere to go but up, right? The one day I saddled up, I got about 3.5 miles in, so I'll set a modest goal for this month of 40 miles. Just something to get me riding regularly again and get my legs back.

    Thanks for the thread @35dollars !!

    I'm going to stick to the same goal of 300 miles.

    Most of them will likely be indoors on a trainer again. Riding is one of the cardio exercises I am using to loose weight, and the important thing for me is to just ride. I'm still using Zwift which has been alot of fun.

    April is a busy month for me. I work full-time and am taking 2 classes towards a master's degree. Finals will be at the end of the month.

    I'm back in again, missed my 350 mile target last month by about 110 miles, not happy about it, but that's life.
    A little more effort and less going to work should do the trick for April.
    Anyway, I'm in for 350 miles again, and considering I'm away for a week it's gonna be challenge, but that's why we do this isn't it?
    Apart from enjoying cycling.

    Promising start to the month - finally the wind has died down and the sun has come out so a series of firsts:
    First ride over 50 miles this year.
    First ride this year on my carbon wheeled bike.
    First ride in mitts not gloves.

    Going to aim for 600 miles in April and see about entering my first Audax event of the year in early May.

    This is my kind of challenge! Since I'm new to this site and just getting back in the swing after a meniscus tear/removal, I'm going to set a modest goal of 150 miles this month. I've had 2 days of mountain biking this month so I'm at 19.9 and when we get home (back to Florida) then I should be back on my road bike and hitting it on the weekends and a few nights per week. I track everything on Strava but I want this site to hold me accountable! Thanks for letting me join everyone!

    Glad to have all the newcomers to this thread, too! It's great to see more people getting into it!

    I'm doing my first checking, though that's mainly because I want to mention a ride I did today. I botched it in a few ways, so my stats look like crap (forgot to tell the Garmin to stop recording when I needed to stop, forgot my cleats, so wasn't able to lock in on the pedals, and got a flat tire), but I *still* had a great ride. 30.1mi today (so 30.1 for the week), and I'm pondering doing it again next week, but doing it right to see if I can't reach my goals better for that ride.

    Oh, and here's a link to show it if anybody wants to check it out. The Columbia Trail in NJ is beautiful and pretty easy to ride, it's just a long ride if you're not already used to doing 30mi rides. https://ridewithgps.com/trips/13713778 is it. Talk to you all later!

    I'm training for a 70.3 (in July), but until this week, I've been indoor cycling. My bike is in the shop getting a tune-up now, but hopefully I'll be ready to go outside this weekend. I'm hoping to get about 150 road miles in this month, in addition to indoor cycling about 4 hours per week.

    I'm in again for the month. Weather here is improving enough that I should be able to go back to my regular schedule of outdoor riding. There will still be the occasional springtime thunderstorm that could interrupt plans. I'll set my monthly goal at 200 miles.

    Joining in, beginner, just getting back into exercise. Challenge virtual stage 1 and part of stage 2 of the Tour De France.

    Stage 1 Dusseldorf- Dusseldorf 14km individual time trial. Background, Dusseldorf Germany is know for its fashion and art.

    20mins 7.55km light intensity stationery bike. 6.45 km of ITT to go.

    I'll catch up on my distances in a little bit, but thought I'd just post this for now ... :)

    Saturday -- My husband and I decided to do a relaxing ride on Bruny Island today.

    We took the ferry over to the island, and started the ride with a climb. I was testing new shoes and whenever I get new shoes, the whole cleat thing is always a pain. I thought I had it right, then second guessed myself and changed it ... and so on and so forth ... and it was wrong. So at the top of the hill, my husband "shoed"? "shod"? me. :D And we finally got it right.

    The ride continued!

    With shoes and cleats that worked, I actually attempted climbing some hills standing up. I haven't done that in a long, long time! It's a bit of work! I could be stiff tomorrow working a set of muscles I haven't worked recently.

    Two rain storms came through ... one just before we reached our turn-around town, and we missed it. And one while we were in our turn-around town, and we missed it because we were having a relaxing lunch under shelter. That one was accompanied by thunder!

    So it was a good ride. And nice to not really have much in the way of schedules and deadlines. :)

    Absolutely glorious weather for cycling in Southern England this weekend so did a little fittest/endurance test to help me decide what event to enter in early May as my first Audax or the season - options are 100 or 130 miles.

    Over 100 miles this weekend but felt fatigued on the last 20 miles so will go for the shorter event. Quite pleased to average over 17mph though.

    According to Strava, as of now I'm at 93 miles for the month. It was a slow week due to getting a power meter installed, tested, and usable. But I still got a nice 40mi in today, and that felt awesome.

    Now, this week I get to practice clipping into the power meter. That was throwing me off pretty badly today.
