Hello everyone, I would love to be a mentor to some of you! Let me give you my back story.
I am a 22 year old female in England and I have an Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching (one of the main units within that was Nutrition).
I have never been fat but I used to be really unhappy with my weight however I am now over a stone down and I'm thinking about losing some more!
I still eat some junk food (just not as much, I used to binge eat so badly at night!) and I do a lot of home work outs!
If you would like me to be your mentor, please add and message me!1 -
hi. is this still going on? I would like someone to help me still (:0

Hi there, I just downloaded MFP this morning! SW:208 CW: 195 GW:(well the first one at least) 170.
I'm 28 part time working mother of three (3,4,&9). I'm a little confused by MFP but I'm dedicated to losing the weight! Looking for a mentor who can keep me accountable. One with a FitBit wouldn't hurt since I have some ?s concerning the relationship between Fitbit and MFP. And probably a woman.
My biggest challenge with weight loss is consistency. I need help staying on track and logging always.
Please adopt me!!0 -
I'd love to have a mentor!
I'm 33, a Husband, Father of 3 ( 10,8,4)! I work sales all day 7am - 8pm most days Monday through Saturday. I am highly motivated but lack of follow through! I've joined this app for accountability and fear I will run out of momentum! Could use some help with motivation and creative ideas for a very busy lifestyle! I believe to have an edge deep inside ! considering I was an All-American , all state cross country , track and field and wrestling competitor! THE BEAST IS INSIDE WAITING TOBE UNLEASHED! Lol!0 -
ISO Mentor
I am a 27 year old from Ontario.
I currently weigh 160 lbs and would like to weigh 145 pounds. I need someone to help motivate and push me towards my goal. I like working out but feel lost in the gym. I have no problem staying away from junk food but have been so overwhelmed with different diets that I have no idea what's considered healthy anymore.
PM me if you want to help
Thanks0 -
I would like to be adopted!!
I'm 31, short, silly, and motivated.
I'm 35lbs down, 118lbs to go. I'm trying to remain more focused on the 35 than on the 118 though. I have a 2 year old and a 10 month old (both girls), am married, work fulltime, and am finishing my masters. I'm exhausted. So I focus most of my energy into meal prep and what I put into my body as my time is pretty limited.
I HAVE to lose weight. Have to. I just beat cervical cancer in November, and am now dealing with abdominal masses and hernias. Guess what. They won't fix hernias on fat ladies.
So the only way to get out of pain is to lose weight! 16 more pounds until I can have surgery #1, 80lbs until surgery #2, and 118lbs until final goal. Let's do this.2 -
So does anyone read this and actually take on newbies?2

I could do with a mentor!
I'm 24 UK, 5ft3 weigh 10st4lb
30.9%bf
My goal is to get into the best shape that I can.
I go to the gym twice a week and do home workouts for 3 days a week. Having a child I can't make it to the gym more often.
I'm okay at exercising and learning new things to try all of the time.
Food is my struggle! I love food (Just not always good food) & I am the worse for boredom eating!
I struggle to know whats good and whats bad and how to meal prep effectively so advice from others would be great!0 -

I would be more than happy to mentor anyone looking to achieve their goals. My background...I have a master's degree in exercise physiology and still am certified with the American College of Sports Medicine. I have been working out for about 27 years (man, I'm old!). I currently don't personal train any longer, but would love to give advice to anyone looking to improve themselves!1

I'm happy to be a mentor! I'm 25 years old from the Boston area. I've been on MFP since 2011. I started at 195 lbs and 29% body fat. I am currently 142lbs, 19%BF. I primarily weight train, very little cardio. I'm a certified personal trainer and extremely knowledgeable about nutrition/ MACROS. I would LOVE to help/support/guide someone who really wants to change their lives and is willing to put in the work!
I look forward to hearing from you!0 -

Hey, I'm 20 from Toronto and would love to be adopted. 2.5 years ago I used to be at my ideal weight, constantly going to the gym and healthy. Since then I've put on 26 pounds (I am now 138 and 5'4) and would like to get back to my old self, but with a more athletic and toned body rather than really slim.0
-
Adopt me please. I recently change my diet for the better. I'm weight was 232.8 now I'm 226.0 as of today. I am struggling to stay on track. I cut back on carbohydrates, and that's all keeping thinking about. Help........,0

Adopt me ples :') I'm new, 22 almost, 5ft2.5, female, VERY sedentary and 9st3lb. So technically health y bmi but my body is so flabby!! I have health problems that make it hard for me to loose weight I'm going to the gym and doing very light workouts to tone as my health problems stop me doing anything more 'intense'. Used to be obese and now I'm here and all saggy and flabby and haven't had progress in 6 years! I've recently lost a stone on my own but I've come on here to make sure I go further.0

Any muscle dude mentors, I feel would be a good fit. Or a women who can help motivate me and give me pointers. I'm currently on ketogenic way of eating so a person doing the same would be awesome!0
-
Someone adopt me please.
About me:
I'm 36 (until next month...boo) 5'11" 126.6lbs ( yes, I know I am underweight) I am skinny fat though. I have body fat to get rid of. I do not have access to a gym or weights so I am stuck with my own body weight. I do have resistance bands though. I am doing my best to clean up my eating habits. I mostly do cardio. I need to incorporate more strength training and that's pretty tough. I have a bad knee so squats and various exercises can be a real challenge some days. I also have huge screws in my pelvis (completely shattered and broke my pelvis years ago in a car accident). I got the doctor ok to workout long ago so that is of no concern... just some days I have pain and have to limit what I can do (especially if it is cold outside).
I need someone to help me with the strength training without weights. I am kinda lost and not sure what's best. I know that cardio is good and all, but I will not lose body fat and tone up without the strength portion.
Please.... someone help motivate me and kick my butt in gear. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
I wish everyone much success o their fitness journeys. Good luck! You can do it!!!0 -
Are there people still Adopting?? I've been on this journey for a long time and need help regularly.0
