    4/11- 3.79
    4/12- 9

    4/14- 17
    4/15- 5.11
    4/16- 4.06

    Total: 110.98

Today's notes: My run brain decided that it hates my body. Woke up at 0630, which is still sleeping in a bit, and got my run in. Another "too fast run" averaged 9:33 with an average HR of 154 (just barely in z2). My legs are dead! Between the sufferfest LR Friday, running that crazy fast (for me) 5 miles last night, and waking up 10 hours later to run again, I'm almost looking forward to 3+ hours just sitting in the car this afternoon!

    Have a great day ya'all!

What better way to spend a cold (-1 C), snowy/rainy/icy Easter morning than a run - 5.75 km this morning along city sidewalks and trails.

I think I got a little overzealous today. I figured since yesterday went well that I'd try a little running again today. I also wanted to test out the KT tape I picked up yesterday.

Well, I managed a mile and a half in between walking breaks and now my hip hurts again. I am seriously discouraged. And in pain.

So it looks like I will be going to the doctor later this week. I'm hoping he can give me some alternate exercise to do while my hip heals. My gym does have a pool, so I could do water exercise if necessary. But I'd prefer to walk since I can do that outside.

@RespectTheKitty Good luck with the hip. I underestimated how complex it is. Be patient with it and be sure to keep notes for your doc/physical therapist.

    25.6/40 miles for April

I had a great run today. It was cool and a little cloudy.

I do have a question for the experienced runners. Do you walk any during your run, and if so do you calculate how much distance you run vs walk? I started out with c25k and so I walk for 5 minutes (usually .3 miles) before I start running. Then i usally walk for about 5 minutes to cool down when i am through running. I'm just curious to know if most of you subtract the walking or just consider the whole thing the run.
