Had a great day with Hubby and Family and ate more than I should have, NSV is i am just moving on to the next day, one day cant make all the good I have accomplished go away.30

Couple of NSVs from this weekend:
1. My XL shirts are getting too big, and go all the way under my rear now. All my clothes are getting looser, but this is the most noticeable.
2. Hubs said I look like I've lost a lot more weight than the scale says I have.
3. I didn't binge on Easter candy yesterday. Just had a couple pieces and moved on.22 -
It's been such crap re: scale & inches the past few months and I have no one to blame but myself. In my effort to get back on the wagon, I went for several long walks with various dogs this weekend and went back to being strict with logging every bit. Yesterday, I busted out my bike and went for a ride for the first time in probably 5 years.24

My NSV is that yesterday at Easter dinner, I didn't let myself binge on all the yummy food, even with the 'peer pressure' from family! So many of my family members looked at my plate and talked about how 'sad' it was. But after carefully measuring all of my food these past 2.5 months, I have a much better idea of what real portion sizes are supposed to look like. So I got plenty of the foods that were good for me (turkey and green beans), and just had a bite of the foods that were not (Mac and cheese, dessert)! And I felt completely satisfied after finishing my plate and did not go back for seconds!31

I ate to the point that I was stuffed yesterday and then stopped. There was a time that I would have kept going until I was actually feeling ill. But the real NSV is the progress I've made in terms of eating normal amounts. When I first started I would have been able to hit 5000 calories easily yesterday and even eating until I was stuffed I only hit about 2700 (which was not a huge deal I budgeted 4000 in advance). I also would have definitely eaten leftovers later that evening (we do Easter lunch in my family) whether I was hungry or not. I was still full from lunch so I just didn't eat anything for dinner and went for a walk instead. Even the desserts are not really calling me anymore. I'm probably either going to freeze or throw away them away. So odd. But that's progress I guess?24

that's lots of progress! Great job3

For the first time since we got our trampoline for the boys, my weight has gotten down to the point where I can use it.39

1. I now feel sick after eating a whole brownie or really big cookie. Which makes me not that excited about them anymore.
2. Today I did a Pilates class, about 50 minutes of light cardio at the gym, and then mowed the lawn for 90 minutes. And I'm not completely exhausted!
3. At Easter dinner, I was most excited about the salad I brought and the hard boiled eggs.
4. When I went shopping for Easter basket goodies, I could hardly find any candy that sounded remotely interesting. So I got us each one Reese's egg and then single serving bags of popcorn for hubby and me, and Goldfish crackers for the toddler.18 -
1. I put on this size 8 dress that used to be tight, but now it's kind of roomy. Ayy ay ay ayyyyy.
2. A few months ago, I was talking about food with a coworker, when this really rude girl that we also work with butted into the conversation and said to me "Oh but you don't have a diet that you have to stick to, you just eat anything" and started laughing. It actually really hurt my feelings, especially because I was just coming off a bit of a depressive episode during which I was bingeing alot and had put on some weight. But I just smiled at her and said nothing. -27 lbs later, I passed her in the hallway today (wearing this now roomy size 8 dress) and she did a double take at me and then just kind of stood there and stared. I put a little extra switch in my step as I walked away, just for her hateful *kitten*. Shout out to the Lord, who will never let me be shamed in front of my enemies LMAOOOOOO.40 -
I went for a walk with a co-worker today. She asked if I wanted to turn back where I always had to last summer and I said no. What a difference the last 30 lbs has made! So much less pain.31

Have gone from a size 3X top to a XL in 4 months35

I ran 11 miles on Saturday. That's my longest ever run. I've hit 60 miles for April already. I'm curious to see how many miles I finish on at the end of the month. I turn 49 on Friday and I've never in my life run more than 2 miles (and those were at school for cross country running). I'm fitter and healthier now than I've ever been.37

My silhouette from my shadow looks really nice. :-) I've been at my goal weight for a while now but started lifting HEAVIER a few months ago... I'm looking curvier now... Still a bannna shape, but one with a little junk in the trunk. lol31
-
Had a bad week eating junk, not logging food etc but still exercised. Back on track today, in the past I would have said "damage done might as well give up"30

Bought new jeans yesterday. My very first skinny jeans size 6p! ...and the waist is not pinching me in two. Down from a size 14 last year.37

While the scales haven't been moving much (frustration!), I suddenly miraculously fit into my measuring pants again this morning. - An old pair of skinny jeans without stretch. They are still a bit tight, but I can close the button and sit down without fainting. Definitely a NSV! :-)38

Sundays are always the day we get up, have a big homemade breakfast, go grocery shopping and then come home for lazy afternoon nap time/netflix binge. Last Sunday instead of napping I spent that 2 hours or so outside with my kids playing soccer, playing house, making dandelion bracelets, etc. It was great!
And yesterday instead of coming home and doing practically nothing we went for a walk/bike ride after my sons baseball practice. It is SO NICE to have the energy to play with my kids!53 -
I gained about 10lbs over the winter just being lazy and eating too much and my fave pants got a little snug. Now they fit perfectly26

Bought two dresses this weekend at Old Navy and Kohls. Both a size L. No X's needed. I'm just gonna ride this vanity sizing victory as long as I can.38

I am going to a gala on Thursday and tried on last night a dress that was size 18 and kinda too tight and needed Spanx for another gala in February. I was swimming in it. I went to Burlington coat factory and found a dress that looked good and fit fantastic. Only then did I glance at tag and realized it was size 14!!!!!43

1. I did the team training at my gym Saturday morning. (First time) High intense cardio/strength training mix. It was an hour long class. Then I did the weekend warrior challenge right after. Another 45 minutes of circuit training. I was amazed I was able to do 2 classes with maybe a 20 minute break in it. I wasn't even exhausted afterwards. The BF did the second class with me. He has been very supportive, but always brags in how much better shape than me he is. (mostly to goad me into doing more.) Well, he about died after the class. He had to go home and rest for a couple of hours.
2. I did not over indulge on Easter. I gave myself to maintenance calories, and I am pretty sure I stayed within them.33 -
Magically I skipped a size medium. I went from a size L shirt and size 36 waist, to magically now I'm a size S in some shirts and size 32 in some waists
(I don't understand why sizing is so inconsistent for smaller clothes, when I was fat, a 44 was a 44...)27 -
On Sunday, I ran 2 miles and only slowed to a walk one time for a very short distance. I didn't realize until last night that the longest I've ever ran without constantly breaking for walk time was 1 mile. It inspired me to go out and push myself last night. I ran 2.2 miles with no walking. I didn't realize I was capable.37

Yesterday I bought shorts!! I haven't worn shorts in public in years!31
-
This is going to sound silly, but I'm comfortable with short hair.
I have always had long-ish hair and I guess I hid behind it much of the time, but now that I don't have an extra chin and my neck, collarbones and shoulders are more distinct I don't seem to mind it being shorter.
I cut it several months ago from long to neck/top of shoulders and I went for a trim this week and got it shorter. This time it is just below my ears and choppy layers like a shag. And I'm not as weird or self-conscious about it as I suspected I would be.40 -
Yesterday while getting ready for work I put on a shirt that not long ago had been uncomfortably tight. I wasn't paying attention and thought it was a similar shirt that fits well. I didn't even notice it was the previously too small shirt until I started doing my makeup.21

Not much to do with weight loss but I realized today how much progress I've made in college. I took two semesters at one school, under a different major, then started back up years later at another school with another major. I'm 4 total semesters in and I really only need a Phys Ed class and Composition (which didn't transfer). The Phys Ed, 1 credit, is going to be $88 and the CLEP for Composition is going to be free because I'm a Reserves spouse. By this August, I'll have the necessary credits to get an Associate's of Art and by next August, I'll be ready to start the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at Wayne State University! Projected graduation, May/June-ish 2020!37
