Kik isn't just for hooking up. People with limited text on their phones use it. If you have friends or family in another country it's free to text them. Teenagers or anyone really with phones that don't have phone service can use Kik on wifi alone.
My whole family has it to save on texting charges.
Sorry about your situation. Your husband might be using it to contact another woman considering his past behavior, though. Kik is anonymous so you can give your Kik out to online friends or others you don't know well enough to hand over your phone number.2 -

@canary_girl it'd be better to hire a private investigator instead, if you participate in revenge you might not gain much via; the divorce! Especially if the judge has, any reason to; sympathize with your husband because of your actions! There's a difference between, collecting evidence which; a professional PI does & committing malice which, you're planning; to do! This behavior might, also be; criminal by violating stalking, harassment, not to mention federal internet laws which'll result in over a year imprisonment for; federal crimes!3
