Halo Top is popular. Some people like Arctic Zero. The banana one is pretty yummy; I used to make that with some PB2 and cocoa powder. I also personally really like Breyers' carb smart chocolate ice cream.1

I just eat Edy's Slow Churn. Lower fat so fewer calories. Portion control is going to be a forever thing during maintenance anyway, so I may as well start now.6

Yogurt ice cream...just about any brand works for me. Although I have been getting into making sorbet with my vitamix. YUM!0

Yonana is a great gadget. You freeze bananas and add in any flavor or ingredient you want your ice cream to be. Look it up. I absolutely love it.

I love love love halo top. Just make sure to let it sit out for a bit so it thaws. The birthday cake flavor tastes just like blue bunny birthday cake ice cream to me. Since theres more protein i'm not even tempted to finish the pint.2

I love Arctic Zero...brownie blast and a few others are awesome!0

Greek yogurt or cottage cheese with protein powder mixed in with your choice of toppings are good subs as well.2

I just eat ice cream when it fits within my calorie goals for the day. I love ice cream, and no replacement is going to be worth it to me.
I make room for a pint of Ben and Jerry's The Tonight Dough about once every three months or so. I fit other ice cream in about once every two weeks.6 -
I'll join in on the Halo Top Band Wagon. It's a bit pricey but I'd rather spend a little more than to give up ice cream entirely. I've tried 3 flavors so far and loved them all. It's light, but doesn't compromise taste. Each flavor is at least half the calories and less carbs than the equivalent regular store version. Anywhere from about 240 calories to 350 depending on the variety for the whole pint. Each pint is 4 servings. Good on protein as well.1

HALO TOP!!!! Absolutely Halo Top! Love love love the sea salt caramel. Chocolate and Mint are awesome too. Just let it sit out on the counter for a bit to soften up and dig in. It's amazing!0

Halo Top! Just purchased 4 pints i love icecream I purchased birthday cake, peanut butter cup, red velvet & vanilla bean0

If you have any bananas and a food processor, you can make your own ice cream at home! (One ingredient ice cream) The texture is pretty much the same plus you'll be able to have control over what level of sweetness or toppings you want to add.

What's wrong with ice cream?
Skinny cow. When I eat ice cream I eat the ice cream pops or single package things. Better for portion control.3 -
I was very very skeptical of Halo Top but I tried the chocolate one, since I got it for free, and it was life changing. I highly recommend it.4

Make a protein shake and freeze it3

I mix natural yoghurt with cacao, Pb, protein a d stevia, and water to make it easier to stir. Add in some berries and freeze for a while... It's dessert every night of the week.
Weekends/high cal days are for real icecream.1 -

Seconding the Edy's Slow Churn recommendation, as well as the Skinny Cow recommendation. Honestly, I just usually try to find a way to fit Talenti in, it's about 220 cals/serving. I haven't tried Halo Top yet, even with all the rave reviews on here - once the Talenti I bought on sale is gone I probably will pick some Halo Top up.
No one will ever convince me that frozen pureed bananas is exactly the same as ice cream. Additionally, some of those "nice"cream recipes have as many, if not more calories, than the real deal. I also tried making the cookie dough frozen greek yogurt recipe that I saw on pinterest for a while - it was tasty but with yogurt, peanut butter, honey, and chocolate chips - it ended up being over 300 cals. Might as well just eat Ben and Jerry's for that!6 -
I love Halo Top. I don't know whether it qualifies as particularly healthy, but it's lo cal anyway.1

OMG Talenti Southern Butter Pecan is my absolute fave!!! Unfortunately, I am REALLY bad about moderating it. So, it has become one of those "special" treats I only get once in a while.0 -
I go the other direction. When I have ice cream, which is rare, its because we're out at an ice cream place. Then I just get a small amount of what I want, full fat and sugar, but I limit it to going out.0
-
Ice cream is my weakness. I will just splurge and buy some Halo Top from time to time.1
-
I usually make nicecream, which is a frozen banana blended in my food processor. I add whatever flavor I want to, such as peanut butter, chocolate, strawberries, etc.0
-
Enlightened! It might be better than Halo Top. *covers head to protect from thrown objects*5
-
I made two measured cups of ice cream fit in my food log yesterday, and it was glorious.3
-
I save calories for a treat almost every night. I like to buy the novelty treats so that portion control is automatic. One of my favorites is blue bunny ice cream sandwiches. 160 cals each, and only 10% of my calories for the day.1

I like the blitzed frozen banana option, but mostly because I need the bananas to prevent cramps at training. It doesn't replace true ice cream which I have on regular occasions (fitting into my calorie budget). In summer I make lots of fruit sorbet in my ice cream machine as another option. I just blitz some fruit and stick it in the ice cream machine. Mango is amazing that way.0

halo top? but it causes digestive issues for me (as do a lot of processed foods) so i tend to make my own ice cream using frozen banana, cacao, protein powder, almond milk or other frozen fruit mixes.
my favorite is banana ice cream with pb2.0
