    Does anyone pay attention to the macros on here? If so, what are your ratios where you lose? I put mine at 30% fat and carbs, 40% protein, and I feel like I am not going anywhere.

    Does anyone pay attention to the macros on here? If so, what are your ratios where you lose? I put mine at 30% fat and carbs, 40% protein, and I feel like I am not going anywhere.

    I have mine set at 50% carbs, 25% fat and 25% protein - however I rairly hit the protein mark. I really just focus on the calories but take note and change my planned eating when I get warnings from MFP of exceeding on fat or carbs.

Weed eating for at least 45 minutes; my biceps are SOOO sore, weeding gardens, moving all kinds of stuff around the yard, etc., for another 2+ hours, all BEFORE my 3+ mile run for C25K with the kids, then a 3 mile walk while I let them play for a little while.)

    Happy Sunday, everyone!

    Weird week. Went to the Dr. for a follow up, their scale says I gained 8 lbs in 2 weeks. 4 weeks before it said I was 7 lbs lighter than I thought I was and then 2 weeks before it said I lost 5 lbs in two weeks between visits. My own scale has shown slow but steady losses and my jeans tell me I did NOT mysteriously gain 8 lbs in two weeks, so whatever. This time the scale actually reflected a weight that's consistent with what my home scale has been saying. I chuckled when the doc said I should lose about 10 more lbs and I'd be fine. I thought, maybe next week it will show me 10 lbs lighter :) And I know I need to lose well more than 10. Try 35 or 40... and then I'll decide if I want or need to lose more.

    I don't trust their blood pressure monitor either... it's always high in the office, but when I use my own monitor at home, it's well within normal limits ("White Coat Syndrome")

    I've gone over my calorie goal a few times this past week but have not gone over my calories 'out', sometimes the deficit is small, but it is a deficit.

    Original starting weight February 2016: 243

    MFP Starting weight December 25th, 2016: 233

    Average from April 24th to April 30th: 217.5
    Average from May 1st to May 7th: 217.1

    Loss in May : 0.4 lbs.

    Total MFP cumulative loss: 15.9 lbs.

    Ultimate goal: 180.

    I have the same goal as last month, as I put on 5lbs in 2 days. So far, over half the weight has gone in the first week, but as I've been plateauing for the last 2 months almost, I think the next half is going to be very difficult.
