Yes. Once accustomed to eating primarily produce and lean meats, heavy or greasy meals make me feel sick now. So do sugary foods but I find those harder to quit.3
-
Is that more fat than you would typically consume in a meal? Cheat meals, in and of themselves, probably won't make anyone sick. But consuming something that has way more fat than you're used to can make you feel ill.3

I eat lean meat vegetables fruits every day but cheat day0

Then it's probably the higher fat in the meal, not the "cheat day."2 -
Nope. But I don't cheat on food and have a healthy mindset about it.4
-
Nope, my gut is industrial strength.
Though I might feel a little mental trauma when I've been 'bad' on my meal plan.1 -
Nope never happened to me.
A Treat meal most times still fits up to or a bit over maintenance calories for me. I had Pizza Hut last Friday 2 slices, the worst that happened was I was super gassy the next day. I blame the pizza but it was well worth it. nom nom nom
I eat tons of whole foods but I don't "eat clean"2 -
yup - gut bacteria changes - If I eat things that aren't in my usual repertoire, I get gassy or bloated. 2 slices of pizza would probably do that.0
-
I can have, um, bowel issues if I eat something higher fat than I normally would be that's actually much less of an issue now than when I was 220lbs.
So no! Pizza doesn't but would have at my highest. Go figure.
I also don't cheat. If I want pizza I log it and eat it.2 -
Yes, but probably not just after two slices of pizza. If I binge I feel sick afterward. This was also true when I wasn't dieting.1

We just had another thread on this subject with some good insights:

Two slices of pizza is not a cheat, if you are feeling sick after maybe something went bad that was on the pizza.0

A cheat meal should not be a cheap meal. You work hard for the body of your dreams, dont ruin it by giving it food of its nightmares.1

I often think these kinds of things are physiological rather than physical...

So my body knows how much I spend on food? I do not follow...7 -
My "cheat" meals are usually just a bigger version of what I normally make fit into my calories. For example, while I love nachos, I usually keep my plate small and well within my goal, but every once in a while I splurge and have a bigger plate with more yummy stuff on top.
The only thing I usually end up feeling is bloated until it digests. I haven't really cut anything out of my diet though. Just cut back on portion size, or how often I eat it.1 -

Totally - "I'm so virtuous now that I can't even eat pizza without getting sick" - these humblebrags drive me crazy.11 -

How often do you have cheat meals? If it's weekly then I wouldn't expect the extra fat to be a problem.
Does this happen with every cheat meal or just this once? Was there sausage on the pizza?0 -

Damn, pizza is ruining my body even if I'm within my goals?!
And yeah, two slices, depending on the size of pizza, is something I can easily fit into my day with alright macros. No biggy.2 -

Then maybe it was something bad with the food as in spoiled or food borne illness.

Eating 2 pieces of pizza isn't even a "cheat" for me. I just account for it in my daily allowance. So, no-- it doesn't make me feel sick at all. I have an iron gut with the exception of too many beans or too many almonds (for some reason my tummy can't digest them in excess.)
2 pieces of pizza isn't a "cheat" for me either but perhaps the OP is talking NY-sized slices. I'd feel sick after two of these:

Since you normally eat very lean, the unusual amount of fat for you could have upset your stomach.0 -
It may not be the food itself so much as the grease on top. Maybe try blotting it off with a napkin next time?0

YES!! I sure do. It wasn't cheating & I hardly ever eat out but I did 3 times in a month & each time I felt sick to my stomach. One meal was a steak & green beans at Applebees, & the other 2 were similar. I don't want to eat out any more. Also years ago, before mfp, I worked 5 days in a row & ate "well" chicken, veggies & some rice & one first day off I'd eat whatever I wanted, usually more greasy & 2nd day off I spent recovering from it2

YES! I had a hand full of Doritos yesterday and bad the worst stomach ache. I guess it's a good thing, for me anyways, because I will remember for the next time the pain I felt and will not cheat.
I have also been having some GI issues that my Dr has been trying to figure out, so pain has been normal with eating anything outside of fruits, veggies, and lean meats.
Good luck!0 -

I was just thinking that a better quality pizza probably wouldnt give you a stomach ache like a pizza from little ceasars, pizza hut , Dominos or papa johns. Im sorry if i offended you .0 -

Cheap ( poor quality) pizza has so much salt, MSG, grease and other junk. It may not ruin your body forever but when you get diarrhea its not good. I eat pizza often, its always home made and I dont get sick. I have eaten pizza from pizza hut and had to buy peptmo bismo because i literally had diarrhea so bad.0
