21st of June is fast approaching "halfway" I see it as a checkpoint, I personally am a little excited about it, I think it's spurred me on to try and make sure I hit the 26lb off.

How does everyone else feel about the halfway point ?

The success was that it was't more.
Sorta dappled in a few inappropriate choices. Nothing crazy just bad decisions.

Next week's challenge: Get back track and remember that bad choices have consequences.

Wow, hard to believe we're almost half way there. Last time I committed to anything this long, I was in the military. My half way goal is 20.5#. Just 4# away. I'm going to work on passing that. Thank you everyone for keeping me inspired. I've learned so much and changed my lifestyle because of MFP.

How you getting on? What diet/exercise you using?

My secret weapon is a low-calorie dressing that I make with a ratio of 2 tablespoons of 60% fat-free mayonnaise, 1 tsp of whole grain mustard, 1 tsp of white balsamic vinegar, and 1-1½ tablespoons of water, garlic salt and dillweed. (People who are keen on mustard might want to reduce the amount.). I use that on salads, in place of sauces on fish and chicken, and even on baked potatoes. It is tasty enough that I rarely use butter any more.

This sounds delicious and easy! Trying it this weekend :)

This week's challenges/successes: serious 'whoosh' this week. It was a week of health issues, so I'm sure that some of the loss is due to anxiety related to that.

This week's success: 6 days going to the gym. Planning ahead and taking protein bars and smart snacks to Epcot really helped.

This week's challenges: Focusing on preplanning meals has slipped. Scrambling at meal time isn't good. Need to plan ahead better.

This weeks successes: Staying the same. Went on a course for two days and I presumed the fancy named restaurant would serve healthy food but the only carbs on offer was white bread so went over, so goes to prove never assume and failing to prepare is preparing to fail. Seems the exercise clawed any gain back.

This week's challenges: Due to shift work, change of treat day from today t Tuesday so 3 less days between treat and next weigh-in.

Just thought of another success. Still doing this. Seems loads have dropped away and others are losing heart. I'm here for the long run so I hope those struggling keep plugging away, have a look at where they're going wrong and make the necessary adjustments. If nothing else think of what made you join this in the first place.

We should bold and highlight this. So much effort, truth, struggle, sharing, work, planning, despair, joy.

This week's success: Another great week with my exercise. And, I agree with @Toxtethogrady and @junodog1 - it is a success that I am still here and still working really hard to maintain my weight loss.

This week's challenges: Work stress lead to more snacking on chocolate, and I overindulged at a work dinner on Tuesday night.

My most favourite quote of the week:

    Starting Weight (04/25/17): 219.4 lbs
    First Goal Weight: 198 lbs
    Final Goal Weight: 130 lbs

    Week 1 -- 05/01/17: 215.6 (-3.8 week/-3.8 total)
    Week 2 -- 05/08/17: 209.0 (-6.6 week/10.4 total)
    Week 3 -- 05/15/17: 207.0 (-2.0 week/12.4 total)

Successes: Not a lot of success this week. It's been a stressful week.

Challenges: Fell off the wagon a little over the weekend since I was out of town and did not have my pre-made foods with me, as well as a lot of stress. Also retaining fluid this week. Was down to 206 earlier in the week but have put back on a pound. I think it's mostly fluid but we'll see.

    On to week 4!

    Week 19

    Starting weight: 226.4
    Goal weight: 175
    Last week weight: 205.2
    This week weight: 207.5
    This week loss gain: 2.3
    Total weight loss: 18.9

    Weekly update:
So I had an off weekend. Saturday was a Jimmy Buffet concert and we make it a weekend event. For the record let me say that it was all worth it. I knew there would be some after effects. We don't do it like we used to, but Jimmy weekends are still an indulgence. However I did not expect to feel so unhappy about posting these numbers above. It is bloat. I had salty things and alcohol things and I know that this number will crash back down in a couple of days. But I wanted to lie. I was running in the 204s all last week.

Ah well, I will have a fantastic loss to post next Monday.

    Last Week's challenges check-in
:p Keeping the momentum - that ws going fine until the party broke out
:| Declutter one room in my house. Fail except I did get my bathrooms cleared out. I guess that counts
:) Be green for the week overall in calories. (Sun – Sat) I actually did that.
    <3 Call Mom

    This week's challenges
    • 70,000+ steps for the week (Sat - Sun)
    • Get the momentum back. Weight must be less that 205 next weigh in
    • Water focus - drink, drink, drink
