A healthy snack to binge on and reduce cravings?

Trying to lose 30 lbs however the cravings before lunch and dinner are always so bad! Are there recipes that satisfy the craving for carbs or sweets that is actually healthy for you? ):

For me I had to take out white sugar and most carbs...it's regulating my blood sugar
now when I am craving something to munch I will go to fruit, broccoli, cabagge cauliflower or zucchini ...i am shocked it is working so well bc i am used to majorly pigging out on chips popcorn licorice etc around 3 pm each day...complete nightmare turned into something much more manageable11 -
If you have a blender you can make protein ice cream, makes a giant bowl and has changed my life
60 ml sugar free maple syrup
120 ml unsweetened almond milk
30g protein powder (recommend chocolate or cookies n cream)
Entire tray of ice cubes
3g xanthan gum
Add everything to the blender let it go 4-5 minutes.
Pour into a bowl and top with more syrup and a few crushed up cookies or pb2.. whatever you have the calories for.
150-160 calories depending on PP used and toppings. I will never waste $5 on Halo Top again!

The best way to reduce cravings for sweets (I assume that's what you mean by carbs and snacks) is to reduce your over all simple carbs (flour/sugar). Carbs are funny, the more you eat, the more you will want.

To quote:"Man, if I went more than 2-3 hours without carbs, I'd be starving!" Well, my friends, you are buying into a vicious cycle. Let me explain: When you eat small amounts of carbs frequently, you are basically titrating in glucose to your system.
To dispose of this glucose, your body releases insulin to drive blood glucose into cells. Over-secretion of insulin, however, may cause hunger to rise (typically about 2-3 hours post meal, the approximate time course of an insulin response), but—no problem—you are eating every 2-3 hours anyway, right? Just titrate in some more glucose. Unfortunately this makes you crave and consume glucose like clockwork. It tricks many people into thinking that they need carbs every 2-3 hours or they would be hungry when, in fact, the opposite is true.
If you ate carbs less frequently with more time between carb dosings, you would be less hungry because your own body would ramp up systems that deal with endogenous glucose production, and keep your blood glucose steady.

Consider changing your meal timing so you don't get so hungry. Good 200 cal snacks will include fiber, protein. Like an Apple with cottage cheese. Here's what works for me:
Breakfast 8
Snack 10:30
Lunch 1
Snack 4:30
Dinner 7
And to add....bed at 9:3012 -
Blackberries are like craving kicking ninjas and Blueberries. I always try keep fruit with me. Rasin bran cereal with 0% fat milk. Make sure your portion control. Like instead of eating a cup if cereal try .5 cup and chug some water.4

'cravings' is very vague. What are you craving? Eat that. In small quantities.4

Oh my god I am going to try making this this summer.
You will not be disappointed! I've been making it for breakfast every morning for the past week now. It's just so amazing and keeps me very full which is always a nice bonus. I don't see myself getting sick of eating protein ice cream so.. it will be a daily staple now0 -

One of the strategies was to have a "small, flavorless snack between meals". This goes along with something my doctor once told me: snacks shouldn't have much more than 20 or so g of sugar, otherwise it will make you *more* hungry rather than satisfied. I look for single serve yogurts that are low in sugar for this reason, but I think I will try some popcorn to see if there's anything to that "flavorless snack" recommendation.1 -
Here is another "Ice Cream" that I make.
For 2 servings:
2 frozen bananas
1 scoop protein powder
1/2 cup low-fat milk or almond milk
Mix the milk and protein powder in a blender and then add frozen bananas. Continue to pulse until creamy. Top with 1 tsp of low-sugar chocolate sauce and your favorite nuts and you have yourself a yummy sunday.

I don't eat 2lbs of anything anyway and everyone knows that about icecream. Its on the box0 -
The point I'm making is some people think OK I'm going to eat this giant bowl of fruit then complain they aren't losing weight. I've tried smoothies, eating healthier, cutting out junk food, adding more water, diet pills, body wraps, and throwing tons of walking and rowing and biking at it. It didn't work. I found out what does. And I have lost that weight and maintained that weight for over a year. Now I eat whatever I want in moderation and I never count calories. Ever.6
