Steven here in Southern California. Starting weight when I came back to MFP 8 weeks ago was 300lbs. My goal sometime in the summer of 2018 (it's too far off yet to have a sense of when that will be) is 185lbs. But if I only manage to take off 100 lbs and crack the 200 lbs marker I'll be pleased. It's the process and making it part of every day that a challenge like this is about. A sustained 2 lbs a week is a serious undertaking but I am definitely up for it. Having to log the results here is a good thing. The public accountability factor will help keep me on the path.
June 01 Starting weight for the lose 55 lbs by Xmas challenge: 287.5 lbs.
Goal weight for Xmas 2017: 232.5 lbs. Which is what I weighed 4 years ago.

Hi, I'm in Blackburn, England. Am 26 and trying for what feels like the 100th time to take control and be happy with my self and have more confidence.
I started on May 15th with a goal of 56lb by Christmas4 -
13 days eating healthy 7 lbs down 48 to go started at 226 so honestly I will be happy even to get a few jean sizes lower3

I'm so ready!!!! I started this new healthy lifestyle journey May 1st, 2017 at 240. As of May 29th I am down 16 pounds at 224.2. I have been going in so hard but I'm loving the way I'm feeling. Count me in!!!!2

I'm game!!! Thank you! ! I live in the Wash, DC area. I've generally been in the 210s-220s since 2008. My high weight was 244 in summer 2015, got it down to about 210 by Nov 2015. But have essentially lost and regained the same 10 pounds since. So I've lived in the 210's, +/- 2lbs, since Nov 2015...
I'm ready to plow through the pounds and shake my body up so it doesn't keep resetting itself to these same numbers! ! I need to get well under 200 before I'll believe my body won't revert back to its comfort zone of 220, lol.
