Started Keto last week starting weight 225 first goal is to get to 208 my weight after daughter then 199 hello wonderland then 175 the smallest I remember being final goal 1450

Yesterday afternoon we ended up going to my in-laws after lunch. There were a bunch of desserts and snacks but I stuck to the raw veggies and a few mixed nuts. In the past I would have had way to much to eat.0 -

Great success for so many is good to read. I have been maintaining at just under 50 grams of carbs for the last two years in the 195-210 range as my health recovers and would like to shift my range down to 170-185 for the long haul. After getting off of most sugar (all added sugar) and all forms of all grains Oct 2014 the carb cravings started to fade after the first two weeks. While I was losing inches it was 6 weeks before the scales started going down.
While I do not actively track what I eat it is typically 2000+ calories and I stay in a mild state of nutritional ketosis 95% of the time and never go hungry like the 40 years of yo-yoing diets that lead to 100%+ regains every time until moving to this LCHF way of eating. I walk at least 1/4 of a mile every day down and back up a steep hill unless there is ice on the road.
A couple times I did load up on carbs twice in late 2014 but it is so not fun so I stopped doing it.
Everyone is different with different goals so do the way that works for your goals. My main goal was pain manage and to regain my mobility.
