    EVERY TIME that they came over he would take his shoes off and put them on my glass coffee table. That sounds fine in theory, but let me tell you something, sweetie. That coffee table was given to me by my German great-grandmother that didn't speak a lick of English (we communicated in Morse Code). In other words, that table was worth more to me than its weight in gold (and it was a really heavy table at that). Add this to the fact that he seemingly forgot to add washing his feet to his hygiene routine, and you have a mess on your hands hun. So, not only did I have to wipe down my doggone table every time he decided to put his hideous walking utensils on my most prized possession, but I had to wear a HAZMAT suit and/or a gas mask along with the same pair of gloves that they used to clean of Chernobyl. After years of begging to EITHER a) stop putting his haymakers on my gosh darn table OR b) clean them things, he decided that he had had enough of my "pointless" pestering and decided to find someone who could handle those bulls in a china shop.
