She has a gallon size mason jar, puts a punch of tea bags in it, lets it steep in the sun and then adds about 1.25 cups of sugar to it while it is still hot from the sun. I have tried to duplicate it many times, but it just never tastes as good as hers.
Also sweet tea and fried chicken = the best meal ever.1 -

I've been drinking sun tea made with well water since I was a child...never had an issue.2

I'm now curious as to how on earth making tea from sun is dangerous? What's the principle behind that?0 -

Something about it being in the sun and getting warm enough for bacteria to grow, but not hot enough to kill said bacteria.
That's about all I got, because I don't really pay attention to it.2 -

Today is a very dirty day for me. McDonalds for breakfast, no lunch and then homemade pizza (not bad) for dinner and then some Ben & Jerry's Salted Caramel Core for dessert.
I am not even going to pretend that I am tracking today.

I thought these were more calorie dense than that. I'm restricting sweets right now (because let's face it I'd live off them if I could), but the next time I have a sweet treat I think I'll have one.0 -
i had some tostitos with spinach dip and 1/2 of a quinoa beet burger fourth of july.
and 7 beers, 6 jello shots and 3/4 a bottle of champagne4 -
I always eat what I want but then end up feeling bad about it later lol I'm trying to get better at not stressing about it too much..1

Vanilla mug cakes are great! Personally I'd rather wait until my cheat day/carb up so I can enjoy the real thing.1 -

Using the typical "Sun Tea" method the water gets warm enough to steep tea, but not hot enough to kill potential harmful bacteria which can spend hours multiplying in an environment that bacteria like. I don't claim to know what level of danger this poses -- I'm sure it depends on the bacteria that take up residence -- but tea making in this manner is not safest practice.2 -
My family is Italian and we have a recipie for spaghetti sauce literally passed down from generations. I have been craving some but since I started keto pasta is a no-go and eating a bowl of sauce just seemed a bit silly. But I solved my problem by putting it on cauliflower rice! It was delicious. A little high in carbs but screw it.0

Had the most amazing-good-for-you-dinner tonight; a hot dog on a white bun with mustard, and relish with a side of salty potato chips and for dessert; a homemade banana cream pie...mmm sooo good AND i skipped the gym today2
