Successes / struggles this week: I am so tired I can't get up out of bed to workout at 4:30 like I was doing previously. I need to get to bed and fall asleep earlier, as I used to go to bed at 8:30pm when my husband was working evenings, but now I wait until he leaves for overnights at 10pm. Eek.

Successes / struggles this week: Went on vacation for a week so I'm not really surprised by the weight gain. I'm actually happy that it was only 3lbs and I attribute that to staying active and still logging my food (even when I really didn't want to...darn you deep fried oreos!). I'm going to really work hard these last three weigh-ins to reach my goal (or at least get close).

Successes / struggles this week: I have continued to stay really focused and have been doing great on food. I didn't workout as much this week as I would have liked but I had a few engagements that didn't allow me to do my workouts (I workout after work, I'm just NOT a morning person). I will do better with it this week. One little success was that I did a very hard cardio circuit workout with weights on Saturday that blew me up, but I did a good stretch afterwards and to my amazement I didn't have much soreness the next day. I can tell I am already getting stronger just over the past few weeks.

Successes / struggles this week: I was good on the workout front as usual, and was a little better on diet. I think I have days where I eat under, but then I'll have a day where I'm over but luckily it seemed to balance out this week. I still need to be better on the diet!

Week started great, first few days I eliminated snacking which is a big game changer for me. End of the week went into opposite direction, but all in all I am happy with it. Scale says 3 lbs down, but I think it's more the fact that my start weight was probably water weight/days of the month then real weight.

I had ankle surgery June 1st, I swore I would never weigh more than 250 lbs. When I took the cast off I tipped the scale at 258.5 lbs. I started counting calories again and I've lost 8 lbs. in June. It's aggressive but I'm committed become active again and lose another 10 pounds this month.

My end goal is 200 lbs (then keep it off) but it can't happen overnight. My clothes already fit me better and I can't wait to feel comfortable in the next size. By the way, does anyone know how to update your post without hitting the quote tab?

Successes / struggles this week: Surgery in 6 1/2 weeks. I have to stay focused on the goal (lose 10% of body weight by 8/25) so that i don't have to worry about weight post surgery. For the next 10 weeks i am alcohol free and somewhat fasting since i have to get physical to get 'clearance' for surgery. i need to stay active (within reason) and drink lots of water. much harder to lose when we get older.
