Successes / struggles this week: Went on vacation for a week so I'm not really surprised by the weight gain. I'm actually happy that it was only 3lbs and I attribute that to staying active and still logging my food (even when I really didn't want to...darn you deep fried oreos!). I'm going to really work hard these last three weigh-ins to reach my goal (or at least get close).

Successes / struggles this week: I have continued to stay really focused and have been doing great on food. I didn't workout as much this week as I would have liked but I had a few engagements that didn't allow me to do my workouts (I workout after work, I'm just NOT a morning person). I will do better with it this week. One little success was that I did a very hard cardio circuit workout with weights on Saturday that blew me up, but I did a good stretch afterwards and to my amazement I didn't have much soreness the next day. I can tell I am already getting stronger just over the past few weeks.4 -

Week started great, first few days I eliminated snacking which is a big game changer for me. End of the week went into opposite direction, but all in all I am happy with it. Scale says 3 lbs down, but I think it's more the fact that my start weight was probably water weight/days of the month then real weight.4 -

Successes / struggles this week: Surgery in 6 1/2 weeks. I have to stay focused on the goal (lose 10% of body weight by 8/25) so that i don't have to worry about weight post surgery. For the next 10 weeks i am alcohol free and somewhat fasting since i have to get physical to get 'clearance' for surgery. i need to stay active (within reason) and drink lots of water. much harder to lose when we get older.

Successes: Home renovations and picking décor kept us not eating out and not snacking but yet not feeling like we worked hard enough for a lot of beer. Finally strung two weekends together in a row where I did not blow my progress. Being able to focus on loosing more weight and not working back to where I was on Thursday is refreshing!
Struggles: Family arrives tomorrow for a week's stay. I am not able to log or look like I am watching my weight around them. Going to try to rely on the portion sizes and diet choices I have gotten used to seeing on my plate lately without access to a food scale or control over what goes into the recipes.0 -

Successes / struggles this week: Not getting activity has really had a massive impact on my life. I bounced up to 229 at the beginning of July, because I didn't eat as healthy as I should have, and didn't control my portions. Ever so grateful to have my medical restrictions lifted so I can at least walk 30 mins. 5x a week, if nothing else.
This is all on me, I hold myself accountable, but also am motivated and encouraged to see a decent loss after only one week of clean eating. Today's breakfast was an apple-blackberry smoothie. Lunch is portioned cheese and nuts: filling and healthy oils and protein.2 -
