So I guess in 8 weeks I'll be able to run a 10k. Not sure if I'm going to sign up for a race or anything, but we'll see.
I did a disney half marathon in 2010 tje disney races are so much fun6 -
am a bit upset about this NSV - but the trousers I wanted to get into - wore them a couple of times in May, now look too big across the crotch.
They are mens trousers and due to my legs losing weight fastest, they pull a bit and look baggy across the tops of my hips.
I bought them around 7 years ago with the goal of losing to wear them. Just seems a bit unfair! haha
following this, got home last night and decided to try on the medium maroon t-shirt and large Spiral dragon shirt I bought about 10 years ago with a view to 'being able to wear them soon'
They fit! wore out to cinema, comfy as anything! (my jeans on the other hand - def need a belt!)

I pulled 2 belts out of the scrap leather pile that now fit. I'm on the last (biggest) or 2nd to last hole depending on the pants, but I have belts that fit. I just wish the black belt had fit and I liked it.16

Since I've been running and biking to work, I decided to take the plunge and donated my car on Monday. Never would've thought I could do that a year ago.49

Yesterday I pulled out a pair of pants, from the back of my closet, that I bought last year and they didn't fit. I thought I would see how close I was to fitting into them, since I am about the same weight I was when I bought them (the difference being I had stopped working out and eating right so I was growing not shrinking). I closed the clasp! There is still room for improvement on how it looks in the stomach area, but I wore them to work proudly!22

I knew I couldn't fit a workout in after work... so I got it done in the wee hours of the morning!30

Congratulations! This is cool -- I've been watching you experiment being car-less. I'd love to move and be able to do the same.10 -
Sunday I wore a bathing suit that didn't hide my thighs. Initially I was proud of myself when I put it on, then I was embarrassed because it was not very supportive on top either lol, and I almost talked myself out of wearing it. And I decided, I'm going to the pool for me. Not for anyone else and their judging, glaring eyes. If you don't like what I look like...LOOK AWAY....cause I'm here to stay!38

I wore a 2 piece!!! I felt like I was walking around in my underwear because I never wear them but it was nice wanting to cover up for that reason instead of because I feel fat.27

I bought some new clothes today! I tried on the biggest shirt size since it was in the jr. section....too big!! I had to get the next size down and everything I tried on fit even though the number was intimidating when I grabbed it off the rack. My only problem? Trying to decide to keep or leave each thing (it all looked good)20

now am not getting too hyper (she says) as I am not 100% sure of the Garmin's distance measure - but yay!!27 -
I have these cute "fish" pajama pants and a couple months ago they became so uncomfortably tight, and now yesterday after being down 20 lbs again I can comfortably wear those pajama pants. It was one thing that my jeans were getting tight for me back then, but it became very alarming to me that my pajama pants were also getting too small. And I can also fit into my old jeans again that were getting too tight!30

For the first time ever I ran 5k without stopping. It was not fast but it was 5K (5.2 to be exact). Had a huge bundle of stress to get rid of. That combined with a promise to my husband that I would get a 5K in before we go on a holiday (in just under three weeks) got me going. My husband knew I could do it (I'd already done a 4.7K once, also knew I needed to be challenged. He knows me too well.
Not bad for somebody that swore never to go running
Now he will have to keep his end of the bargain Going to a very fancy restaurant together His treat29 -
My most recent was last Saturday. I had fallen off the wagon hard early in the morning and consumed 3000+ calories of peanut butter cookies and tortilla chips. I decided to burn 'em all. When I got my bike out and strapped on the helmet, I realized that for the second time in this 17+ month effort I needed to tighten the head strap. Yes, my fat has fled my head.42

Managed to do 20 proper push-ups for the first time since I was a teenager tonight.30
-
I was able to squat down to my three year old niece's level and stay there for a 15 minute period without it hurting.35

I'm officially a size 18! I haven't been a size 18 in 10 years!!! Wooohoooo61
