Yes, MFP glitches like that sometimes and quotes the entire page instead of just your own post.

Are you going to start a brand new 100 days? Since I just found this board and round 10 ends tomorrow I was wondering if you are going to start a new thread or just let people keep going from where THEY started. I would love to do this as 10 days is a good round number to strive for change. Please PM me. Thanks3

Round 10
R8 SW:164.4
R9 SW: 161.2
CW: 161.0
R10 GW: 159.0
UGW: 140-seems to be within reach, starting to get the hang of this eating healthy. Found that dieting is not my thing can't stick to it but tracking seems to work better for me. I can enjoy all the foods I like just in moderation then I don't feel guilty.
7/12- 161.0
7/13- 160.4 if I reach the 150s and can stay there til the end of the round I'm going to be so excited. Managed to ditch the 180s, 170s, and soon 160s.
7/14- 161.6 the weekend started at the end of TOM
7/15- 160.0
7/16- 159.6 hopefully I can maintain til the end of the round
7/17-159.8 Im still wondering if my scale is wrong and finally decided to be my lil liar that I have wished for lol
7/18- 160.4 still can't believe the numbers lol
7/19- 159.2 Yeah, hopefully I can stay here til the end!!
7/20- 160.4 scale can't make up it's mind. 150-160s hmmm let see.....

7/15 193 awesome day at six flags, ended with a family movie/slumber party night. Avoided the sweets! Woot woot
7/16 194 hot, lazy day but stayed within calories
7/17 191 wahoo! Feeling like the worst mom ever...oh kids, for the love, STOP IT....pretty much sums up my day.
7/18 191 yay! I thought yesterday's 191 was a fluke, but it remains! Great day all around today! I may finally break the 190s and stay below!!
7/19 191 holding steady. Didn't eat so healthy, but stayed in my calories goal...so that's something lol. Built a bed today with my oldest to surprise my youngest, which was so fun!! Good times
7/20 190 woot woot! Such an exhausting day! 5 hot hours at the pool, but the kiddos loved playing with their cousins ❤️. Even had enough calories left ove for a couple evening beers!! Yes!!! A win for today10 -
I LOVE this 10 day challenge...it's helping me stay focused and be accountable. THANK YOU for doing this!!!!6

R7 SW: 202.2
R8 SW:199.8
R9 SW: 197
CW: 195.2
R10 GW: 193
UGW: 130
7/12: 196.2 kinda knew it would go up a little. I ate late and fell asleep within a half hour of my last bite of food. Not my usual practice and not something I want to make a habit. Still happy to be off the 97 lol
7/13: 197.8 dang it dang it dang it. Had a little bbq last night, but didn't eat only a little lol. Add on the fact that my morning routine was messed up and today wasn't great, but I hit up the vegetables hard today and stayed on goal, so hopefully the scale will show it.
7/14: 197.2 that's better. went for a walk and did some zumba, so today was alright.
7/15: 197.0 woot woot! had some bbq today but I got a good walk in and stayed within my calories.
7/16: 197.8
7/17: 197.4 okay that's a bit better. I'm going to be working more so if I stay consistent with my food (no more Popeye's Chicken), then I think I'll be able to get back on track for this round. Also, side note, not only did my weight go up, but I totally broke out after eating that delicious but super greasy chicken. I'll be staying away from now on.
7/18: 196.2 woot woot! Going back down. Did about 4 miles of walking yesterday, and on pace for that amount today as well. Let's finish out these last few days strong!
7/19: 195.8 alright! Almost back where I started for this week. I doubt I'll be able to make my goal of 193 in the next two days, so I want to make a new goal for myself. I want to maintain my focus over the weekend so that all my hard work doesn't go to waste in the next round.
7/20: 194.8 Had to weigh myself twice. I have no clue why it's coming down so fast but I'll take it. Been walking alot more and eating my bmr or close to it for the last few days. Have a super early start tomorrow so I'm expecting my weight to be back up.

Round 10: (Round 3 for me. Female/aged 71, weight in lbs)
SW: 227; Lowest weight 22/6/2017: 162; Final goal weight: 147
Round 8: lowest, 162.0; highest, 169.0; mean, 165.5 (5 day holiday created overage)
Round 9: lowest, 164.8; highest, 169.0; mean, 166.8
Round 10 lowest, 166.0; highest, 168.0; mean 167.7 (166 on 4 days! I know I can improve on that!)
12/07/2017: 166. Hm! 1.4 up since yesterday. Didn't pay attention to my liquid intake, so not too bad.
13/07/2017: 168: Cause and effect! Pig out on homemade curry last night (too much sodium again) and a few unscripted treats. I must learn to stick to my pre-logged menu, and weigh portions. I have 8 days to turn this round. Next few days will be flushing meadows. Lol!
14/07/2017: 167.6: Mostly stuck to my pre-log. Changed a few of my snack items, but stayed in deficit. Exercise calories gave a little wiggle room, but I only ate back a small proportion. Some of the burns seem quite high so I am adjusting them down. Drank extra water to flush out sodium. I had a couple of rest days, but restarting my lower body exercises today. I'm looking for a slow, steady loss for the rest of this round.
15/07/2017: 166: Happy with that. Really focusing on hydration, staying under goal, balancing macros/micros, and consistent exercising.
16/07/2017: 166.8 Oops!!! Kind of a lazy day yesterday, and had wine with dinner.
17/07/2017: 166: Yes!!! Back on track yesterday. Balanced macros/micros; hydrated; 11,000+ steps; 20 mins strength training; 20 mins Flex.
18/07/2017: 166: Rather surprised at this as I had a few extra treats last night. Did 12000+ steps, 20 strength, 10 Tai Chi. Family picnic lunch today in the Glens of Antrim. I will pack healthy and walk off any treats indulged in.
19/07/2017: 167.7 167.4 : Drat!!! Under-hydration, and too many carbs yesterday have left me feeling a tad bloated and sluggish this morning, and scuppered my downward progress. Oh well, back to basics today. Balance macros/micros; 10000+ steps ✅; 20 strength ✅; 15 flex ✅
20/07/2017: 166.6: Happy with that! I may have just managed to maintained this round, but it's clear where my focus needs to be next round. Daily goals: balance macros/micros; 10000+steps,13,304!; 20 mins strength ✅; 20mins flex ✅. I'm tracking my mean weight for each round on a spread sheet.
21/07/2017: 167.4: I expected more as I had a splurge last night. Low on water, and high on sodium.
Mean for the 10 days is 166.7, down 0.1 from Round 9. Not a lot but the trend is downward. Let's see if I can do better next round.
NB: I have set up the next Round on the Challenges page. See y'all there.

'm back for another round. It's so nice to come here and share success and frustration. I appreciate all of you and this journey we're on.
Started March 162.2
Finished round 9 on 7/11 at 145
Planning to lose another 2 these next 10 days.
Day / Weight / Comments
7/11 ended round 9 at 145 am up to 146.6 on 7/12. Hope to lose the 1.6 + 2 so I'd like to finish at 143.
7/12 146.6 Big Sigh... Quite a bit of salt on beef yesterday. Then, the power went out so we went to see Spiderman and ate some candy. And Ice cream. Ate an orange=more carbs. No exercise. Back on track today.
7/13 147 Wrong way Corrigan here. 45 min on ellip but son cooked general tso's chick and I had some - but, hery, no rice! To gym today and ellip to burn some of this off. I was 145 for the last three days of round 9. Now to get back and below. To hit my goal for this round of 143 I need to drop 4 in the next 8 days. Some is probably water weight so doable.
7/14 146 gym yesterday ate wisely. drank some lemon water... ellip today.
7/15 145.2 75 min ellip yesterday and reasonable eating. LOL While family chowed down on spaghetti and sauce I had spiralized zucchini and sauce. Yum. Topped of by a 1/2 cup pasta and sauce. Feeling proud of me. Hopefully off to gym today.
7/16 145 Yae, back to where I was a week ago. Hopefully, this time it sticks. No exercise yesterday. Felt so tired, no energy. Took a day of rest. Clothes are fitting so much better. Not sleeping well though. Cutting caffeine to no more than one cup of tea or coffee early in day. I'll see if that helps. Stay strong, everyone.
7/17 145.4 Well, Fart! Did 45 on ellip and ate below on everything. Ate kosher dill spears for a snack and there's the water retention. Now, my sons both got jobs that start today so I'm chief sitter for grandson. Not sure how getting to the gym is going to work. I'll see what I can do at home.
7/18 146.4 This is like a square dance only instead of 'swing your partner' it's 'swinging weight'. Had more than my share of wine last night so that's that. 45 on ellip and will have to go to gym in evening if I am to get there in foreseeable future.
7/19 146 My body just seems to love this set point. It's going to have to move/lose some fat eventually. Went to gym yesterday doing ellip today. Maybe I should check back over food diary to see what I was eating when I was actively losing. Hmmm
7/20 145,2 Almost back to where I was at the start of this challenge. Hoping for some kind of drop soon. 1 hr yesterday on ellip. Hoping to get to gym today if someone gets home early. Back to egg whites for breakfast. The protein keeps me going.
7/21 144.6 Are we moving down? Are we getting there? Are we there yet? Patience! 1 hr yesterday ellip. couldn't get to gym. Darn! Not at this challenge's goal but at least 2# below what I started at which was higher than where I ended last round. Clear? Looking forward to next round.11 -
SW 190.5
Goal W 165
R10 SW 178.7
R10 GW 176
Day / Weight / Comments
7/12 - 178.7 - Off to a good start, but I can already feel the cravings kicking in and it's 6:30 am.
7/13 - 178.7 - No change, but I stayed within my calorie goal so I am happy with that.
7/14 - 178.6 - Better than nothing. I stayed within my calorie goal again, but I have been lazier than usual the last couple of days. I did some strength training yesterday, but no cardio. It has been crazy humid( yeah, that's my excuse ). I'm going to try to run today.
7/15 - 178.8 - Not really sure how that happened. My apple watch says I walked a total of 16,384 steps yesterday, including a 3-mile run. I stayed in my calorie limit every day this week, eating mostly clean and healthy choices. It is a little discouraging because I'm working so hard not to cheat. 178 is my body's "happy weight" when I eat a kind of healthy, but still drink alcohol and eat some junk. Ok, I'm done whining. I'll keep working, eating within my calories and upping the calorie burn through exercise.
7/16 - 177.4 - Yay! The scale moved! I was expecting a move but not that much! I went to the gym yesterday morning and ate below my calories. Just keep swimming!
7/17 - 178.7 - Big jump back up, but I was expecting it because we celebrated our anniversary yesterday. We ate delicious food and drank wine. Worth it. My goal was to not be above my R10 start weight for today's weigh-in, so I'm happy.
7/18 - 178.0 - Going back in the right direction!
7/19 - 177.4 - I'm feeling like I can break into 176 by Friday. My diet has been on point. I just need that motivation for exercise.
7/20 - 176.4 - Whoa, was not expecting this! Hoping I can drop a little more before tomorrow morning's weigh-in.
7/21 - 175.4 - What?! I was expecting this one even less. This would never have happened with out the accountability of these weigh-ins. Thanks for running this challenge! I leave for Disney World tomorrow, so I will not be doing Round 11. I'm looking forward to Round 12, though! I'll need to lose that vacation weight.13 -
Beginning weight: 202 lbs
SW for my R1/your Round 8: 195 lbs
SW for my R2/Your Round 9: 190 lbs
SW for my R3/Your Round 10: 190 lbs (blah)
GW for this round: 189...please let me break the 90's.
Ultimate GW: 125 lbs.
07/12 189.5: -0.5 lbs Its taken me 11 days to get under the 190 mark. I'm glad to finally break through it. I just hope it stays!
07/13 190: +0.5 Ugh. I am really starting to hate this particular number. It's my nemesis. Lol I ate under my calorie intake, and I walked 4.5 miles yesterday also. There's always tomorrow.
07/14 189.25: -0.75 I was trying to read up on plateaus yesterday, so that I could move past mine. I adjusted my diet, and I hope that the weight loss sticks. Lol I went biking last night and only got a 20 minutes, 3.5 mile ride in before I heard a very large whoosh like a tornado. The sky was black a road over from me. I knew it was about to get nasty. I had to call my husband to come and get me. He knows my route, and he was already on his way and just around the corner. By the time I saw him, it was already sprinkling, but by the time we got my bike loaded up in the SUV and our bums in the seats, it was a torrential downpour. My hero...he rescued me. Lol Too bad my biking was cut short though.
07/15 188.75: -0.5 I can't believe my eyes!!!! I'm under 189! I actually was like great...I gained a half pound and stepped off the scale. 190 is creeping up on me. I'm a yo-yo. Then, I was like, wait...was that 188, and I jumped back on! Lol Since my bike ride was rained out the night before, I went an extra 15 minutes today and biked 7 miles. It's always pizza night in my house on Friday, so I bought my husband, our 3 children, and their 3 friends some. Then, I went and bought myself a salad and yogurt. I also drank 60oz of water! I'm so astonished.
07/16: 188.75 -0/+0 I gave my body an active rest day. Although I didn't "exercise," I did a lot of walking due to grocery shopping and school supply shopping. I maintained my weight from the day before. All these new low carb recipes I've been trying out for dinner have been a great help for me. 60 oz of water again for me today too, dropping the carbonated beverages, and reducing my refined sugars has done a world of wonders. Having all of you on here to help keep me accountable has by far been the biggest help. Thank you.
07/17 186.5: -2.25 My day started out really well. I ate a healthy breakfast and went on an 8 mile bike ride. Came home and was very sick. I spent most of my day in the bathroom unfortunately. I couldn't keep anything down, not even water. So, this would explain the rapid weight loss right here. Not how I want to lose it, but I'll take it...until tomorrow.
07/18 187.5: +1.0 I'm okay with this number. I was so shocked at yesterday's number that I was going to take a picture of it to prove that it was real. Lol I couldn't believe what my own eyes were seeing. I knew it was simply because of how sick I had been the day before. I ate under my calorie intake yesterday, but I also didn't drink as much water or exercise. I had underwent Suicide Prevention Training and that took awhile. I also still hadn't bounced completely back from being sick on Sunday either.
07/19 188.25: +0.75 Totally okay with this. I thought I'd bounce back to the weight I was right before I got sick. This is okay. I'm still half a lb under. I've been staying on point with calories and water consumption while getting some steps in.
07/20 188.4: +.15 I'm still hanging in. I stayed under my calories and drank 48 oz. of water. I wasn't able to exercise outside of my daily walking though. We had a family emergency last night that naturally had to come first.
07/21 187.6: -0.8 Total weight loss this Round is 2.4 lbs. I REACHED MY GOAL! I am excited about this. My weight has been up and down for sure this round, but I stuck to it. I had a few days where I craved chocolate. The first time in a long time because I was feeling absolute heartbreak. My MIL has been battling lung cancer for a little over a year now, and we found out it has metastasized to her brain. My family is really feeling the pain of her diagnosis as we all love her so very much. Despite my urge to indulge because I have been feeling so awful, I didn't have it. I stayed away. I'm glad that I didn't. Now on to the next round.12 -
R8 SW 156.0
R9 SW 152.6
R10 SW 151.0
7/12 150.4 Well that was an unexpected drop. I was expecting to weigh more today because I've had too much sodium the last couple of days.
7/13 150.6 Went out for lunch with friends yesterday.
7/14 150.4
7/15 150.2
7/16 149.6 I'll take that!
7/17 150.2 Out of town, over-indulged yesterday.
7/18 150.2 Ugh!!
7/19 149.8 Glad to see it drop a little.
7/20 148.8 Yay! Will probably bounce back up a little again. But at least I'm not stuck on 150 anymore
7/21 149.0 Pretty happy with the results this round, down 2 pounds12 -
@nikki062181
I'm glad that I didn't. Now on to the next round.
We are always going to have times in our lives that challenge us. I admire your resolve and that you held on despite going through trials that could break a normal man. I'm so sorry for your heartbreak.7 -
7/12
7/13
7/14
7/15
7/16 - 181
7/17 - 182.5, so the ice cream and lasagna clearly was a fail. On the plus side, I walked close to 3 miles this morning!
7/18 - 181 walked another 2 miles this morning and stayed within my calorie goal with exercise. Are you all staying within the calorie goal including any extras you get with exercise or just don't even count the exercise calories? I'm not sure I can do 1200calories only on a workout day!
7/19 - 180.5 going in the right direction, plus walking 5 miles yesterday didn't hurt either. Sore but happy! Btw my scale only goes by .5
7/20 - forgot to post yesterday but holding steady at 180.5
7/21 - 180.5 again.. ugh.. I wish I was one of those people that can't eat during times of stress instead of one of those that find comfort. I'm happy that my stress eating that put me way over my calorie goal didn't impact the scale though!. I also I walked another 2.5 miles this morning.11 -
Ready for Round 10 (round 3 for me). Thank you for setting this up, Cyranda!
Weight bounces around so I need a way to see the trends on successive 10-day challenges, so am choosing to look at the mid-point between the high and low of the challenge.
Round 8/1: HW 274 LW 269.8 MidW = 271.9
Round 9/2: HW 269.4 LW 266.8 MidW=268.1
I sense two major challenges for this 10-day period. One is maintaining discipline over logging and calories. Cheating the diary just prolongs the process! The other is changing my cooking habits so I am making not just lower calorie supper but less of it. I am still cooking as if I am eating for two.
7/12 266.6 -- This is the lowest weight by .2 pounds. Let's see what I can do to have this be the highest for these 10 days!
7/13 267.6 -- Ah, the days I wake up thirsty because I didn't drink as much as I ought are the days the scale gives me a swat upside the head saying, "You thought you'd be down today because you stayed within your calories! Well, I'll show you!"
7/14 267.6 -- I think the scale likes that number. Calories just within limits so downward path will resume.
7/15 268.0 -- A couple of sodium bombs yesterday. Who knew an English muffin had over 500 grams of sodium? And then for supper a yummy stuffed portobello. The stuffing? Feta. No wonder my eyes are puffy. Gotta drink more today -- throw in an extra glass of still water.
7/16 268.4 -- Starting out 471 calories in the red today because I went 471 calories over yesterday -- ON LATE NIGHT SNACKING!! I also staid up late. This is a well-established old habit that needs breaking! It's the first time I've fallen back into it for awhile. STOP mistaking sleepiness for hunger!! Especially tonight because that 471 calories is taken from today's allotment!
7/17 269 -- Still up. I managed to cancel out about 1/2 of the overage calories yesterday and should get the rest of them today. Sodium consumption has been a bit up lately but I really am staying disciplined about keeping my eating in check and recording everything in the diary.
7/18 268.8 -- At least this is ever so slightly in the right direction. The sodium numbers have been up, what with a couple meals of feta, olives, etc. in the last several days. And I've managed to completely wipe out the extra calories of a couple nights ago but it was definitely a struggle not to late-night-snack. "Ready for my WHOOSH, Mr. Demille."
7/19 267.2 -- There we go. A nice, low sodium day yesterday. Let's see if I at least get back down to where I started out this 10-day period. It really does help to have the averages above for the previous weeks to look at and remind myself that the average this time will be lower. Progress is being made even if the daily fluctuations make it hard to see. Onward!
7/20 266.4 -- Wait a second! Here I was all set to write something bland about keeping sodium in check yesterday and then I looked up top where I have my ranges and for the previous weeks. This is a new low by .4 pounds! Hooray!
7/21266.4 -- Great! I end the 10 days at the lowest weight I've reached so far and that means the mid-point of the high and low for the period is 267.7. Yes, only 1/2 a pound lower than the previous week but still headed in the right direction! Ready for the next 10 days!10 -

I'm back for another 10 days of checking in and understanding how my food and activity choices affect my fitness progress.
SW in March - 182.4lbs
GW - 150lbs - will reassess when I get there
7/11 - 156.6lbs -coming in from round 9
7/12 - 156.4lbs - hoping to get to 155 by the end of the round
7/13 - 157.0 lbs - I was up early for a client this morning so my "elimination schedule" was off...hopefully I'll see this gone tomorrow morning as yesterday was a great day for eating and activity
7/14 - 156.0lbs - that's better!
7/15 - 156.2lbs - on my mom's scale
7/16 - 157lbs - on my mom's scale - It was my son's 10th birthday yesterday...we went treetop trekking and ziplining, I'm pretty impressed with the fact that I'm actually fit enough to participate and not just watch from the sidelines...it was SO much fun!! Had to have some of the homemade lasagna and birthday cake...so my calories were over. This is why I've been working at getting in shape, so I can enjoy days like this...the fun active part and the food part!!
7/17 158.4lbs - bleh! Finally got a night out with Hubby to celebrate our anniversary from last week. So much good rich food, but I'm paying for it today, belly is not sure what to do with it. Lots of water and eating light today.
7/18 - 159.6lbs - on my mom's scale...hoping this is the issue. I know I over indulged on the weekend a bit but yesterday was a good day and there's no way I ate/drank 3.5 lbs worth of extra calories since my 156 day last week. Sodium, and muscle soreness are holding the water I suspect.
7/19 - 156.6lbs - big drop....partly the scale, partly water woosh. Back to where I was at the end of last round...hopefully the next couple of days will get me below 156 so I show a loss in this one. I really need to get a handle on the weekends, up to the summer I was doing really great at keeping things in check but there have been so many special events I'm losing control. This coming weekend is pretty low key so hoping to stay on target.
7/20 - 156.6lbs - just keep swimming....
7/21 156.4lbs - well, a lot of up and down this round ending up pretty much where I started. We're sticking around home with not special events or celebrations so I'm going to stay on track and not waste all my mid week progress in the next round.
See you all in the next thread!!7 -
I'm in! This is my first round. Goal to lose 3 pounds.
Day / Weight / Comments
7/12: 204.6 - up a couple pounds. Trying to reset after over indulging.
7/13: 204.8 - bummer, but not sweating it. Way over on calories yesterday, hubby's birthday and temptation won. But it's a tiny fluxuation, back on track.
7/14: 203.8 – Woo, it feels great to see results from dedication.
7/15: At Mom’s, no scale.
7/16: 203.8 – Awesome! Adult beverages at Mom’s didn’t do terrible damage! And I’m back home staying dedicated. Added some light weights today.
7/17: 203.2 – Lost .6 pound over the weekend. Not too shabby. But I’m starting to feel impatient and I shouldn’t. Down 1.4 pounds in 5 days. Just need to keep pushing.
7/18: 202.6 - I was pretty hungry all day yesterday. Stayed within my calorie intake goal and did my walking. I'm getting sick of salads though, so I'm going to switch it up a bit today. I might go over my calories by a little bit, but I'm excited to eat different stuff. And hey, I'm down 2 pounds.... 2 very hard earned pounds! Right on track.
7/19: 202.3 - I'm happy with this. Last night I felt so drained and depleted I pretty much ate whatever I wanted. I didn't go crazy - we're talking turkey sticks, granola bars, the entire pint of halo top instead of half, bread on my burger and a big glass of milk. I felt satiated and still down! So I'd call that a win!
7/20: 201.4!!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I stepped on the scale this morning. I got off and back on just to make sure. Yay! This motivates me to keep going. Down 3.2 pounds. I met my 10 day goal and I’m ready for the next 10!
7/21: 201.4, again! I was really expecting the number to fluctuate back up a bit, as normally would happen after a significant one day drop but it didn’t so that is happy news! I’m super happy with my 10 day loss, but still hate what I see in the mirror. I am excited for the next three pounds because I will be in the 100’s and it’s been a long time. Small victories!

This is my 4th round.
1st Round (R7) Start Weight: 156.4 lbs. End Weight 159.6 lbs.
2nd Round (R8): Begin Weight: 160.2 2nd Round End Weight: 156.0
3rd Round (R9): Begin Weight: 157.8 3rd Round (End Weight: 157.2
4th Round (R10): Begin Weight: 156.8 Goal Weight: 155.8
Final Goal weight: maybe 98 lbs? -- not really sure (sm. boned & petite)
4'11", female, 55 years old
7/12 156.8 I am happy with this! Please don't let me go over this during this round!
7/13 156.8
7/14 155.0 Yay! I hope that I can stick this or get lower.
7/15 155.8 Yay! This is my goal weight for this round. There will be a HUGE challenge tonight, but I'm gonna try hard to stay in the 155 zone...
7/16 156.4 Aarrggh! Unexpected change in plans, yesterday. Ate lunch out at friends house, then, also, shouldn't have had that slice of my husband's birthday cake... doggone it!
7/17 156.4 Boo! And, I done good, yesterday!
7/18 155.4 Yay!
7/19 156.4 Why am I sabotaging myself?! I did this & knew what would happen... why?
7/20 158 I'm admitting it. Wow! Again, I don't know why I was incapable of sticking with my planned meals. Self-sabotage. But, I don't understand why...
7/21 157 I am happy that I'm down from yesterday. I stayed under in calories & added a tad of exercise.
I realize that I went up, again, this round... but I am not giving up yet! And, I love these 10 day rounds. It has helped me to see that I really can do this. Also, I would have gained more, if it hadn't been for this thread... cause once I do badly, I really have trouble getting back on track... sometimes a month or more. I will be back for one more round...
Best wishes to all!

End of Round 9: 133
Goal for Round 10: 132
Day / Weight / Comments
7/12: 133
Well at least I didn't go up. I had my niece stay over last night and she is used to eating super unhealthy. So yesterday and today has been one of those days where we've been eating healthy for her but unhealthy for us. Just relieved that we have been really active. Because 11 year olds. I love her but I will be glad to not be awakened at 6 on my day off by someone staring at me and asking for food.
7/13: 132.2
I walked over 10,000 steps with my niece yesterday doing various chores and running errands. I guess that plus Aqua Zumba and a short walk with the dog balanced out the slight calorie overage. Let's just keep this off for the next 8 days so I can make my goal!!
7/14: 133
7/15: 133
No kids in the house. Less eating on the go. Less stress. Looking forward to a good workout and a good date night.
7/16: 132.6
Went out last night and watched A Midsummer Night's Dream plus ate super unhealthy. Honestly I'm surprised I lost weight. I think it might just be water because I drank a lot of it yesterday. I also did some HIIT this morning so I feel like I'm getting back on track with exercise now that everything in the house is settling down.
7/17: 134.2
Must be the totally not worth it LNS from last night. Soggy leftover burrito. Blegh.
7/18: 132.2
Yep. It was the burrito. Back down again. So happy, too. 2.2 lbs away from my goal weight! Did Aqua Zumba last night and afterwards I caught my hand in a bag of salt and vinegar chips. After about 5, I looked at the back of the bag, saw the nutrition info, and decided it wasn't worth it. Yay me! Normally I would be like "Oh well. I earned it." Hoping to remember that if you want to see results you can't just gobble them up!
7/19: 132.2
I'm finding that as I near the end, plateaus come more often and it is easier to gain back weight that I've lost. Not saying that two days of the same weight=a plateau. But most days I've been floating at 132-3 for a couple of weeks now. Would like to have another pound lost before vacation so I won't be so stressed about gaining it back. I didn't exercise yesterday. Was driving all day to my dad's house (or back home) from visiting him, but I did eat healthy.
7/20: 132.4
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that unless I'm lucky then I'm not going to make it to 132 by the end of this round. I stayed home from Aqua Zumba last night in favor of going out to dinner with my husband, who works a lot during the summer. So we went to a gourmet restaurant. I'll take the time extra .2 lbs for a nice reconnect over a meal of sweet peas, bell peppers, and snap peas with a side of Gouda cheese grits prepared by a chef.
7/21: 132.4
No exercise and over ate because LNS, which I have got to quit before it becomes a bad habit.5 -
Round 10 (R2 for me)
Original start weight 155
Current weight 138.6
Goal weight for R10 136.6
Ultimate goal weight 128
7/12 138.8 Boo, even a little gain is annoying. I didn’t get much exercise in yesterday, perhaps that’s the culprit. Under on calories, lots of protein yesterday!
7/13 138.0 Heck yeah!! I was so happy to see that, I was due for a loss.. I’ve had a good week with small gains each day, I knew the loss was coming eventually! Had a good day eating yesterday and got 2 nice walks in. On a side note, I’ve officially been weighing myself daily for a month now and am down 7.8lb! 10lb more to go til my ultimate goal!
7/14 137.4 I feel like it’s too good to be true! Ate decently yesterday (even had a chocolate chip cookie and vodka tonic!) got in a really good walk last night after dinner! Hoping I can keep things under control this weekend.
7/15 136.8 Wow! I can't believe how I'm losing this round, I've gotta keep it up! I had a great week staying under my calories and exercising. Only .2 from my goal for this round!
7/16 no weigh in
7/17 138.0 Ugh. I guess it was too good to be true. Pool party + fair food + TOM + not enough water = a sad Monday morning. I know it’s just water and grossness, so it’ll dissipate this week.
7/18 137.0 That’s what I like to see, a nice drop after a day of lots of water, good eating & walking. I feel good about hitting my goal this 10 days.. I have a good week planned (meal wise) so I should be able to drop a little more!
7/19 136.8 Sooo close to goal! Thought I’d be down a little more today, under calories and good walks in yesterday. Oh well. I have plans for some adult beverages tonight, hopefully I can stay on track and it not affect things too much tomorrow!
7/20 135.0 Pleeeeeease don’t be a fluke! I stepped on the scale twice to make sure. I had a good day yesterday, stayed under calories (even included 3 vodka & diet tonics in my day).. got a little bit of exercise in during the day. So we’ll see what the scale does tomorrow. Side note: I’m officially down 20lb!
7/21 134.6 WOW.I blew away my goal for losing 2 pounds, I lost 4 in total! I’m quite surprised by it, I didn’t do anything different, just stayed under/right at my calories and walked each day. But I’m not complaining, and I’m proud of how well I did!

Original Start Weight 221.3
Ultimate Goal Weight 120
7/12 - 221.3
7/13 - 221.9.....boo lol. Wrong direction! Loving this challenge/group by the way...makes me feel like I'm not alone with the never ending struggle, thanks everyone!
7/14 - 220.5...no dinner last night as we are packing for a move and time got away from us...or water weight..who knows. I'll take it!
7/15 - 219.8
7/16 - 223.7 - yes...I know...lots of shots and snacks last night...I blame only myself.
7/17 - 223.1 - Working off my weekend
7/18 - 221.9 - Feeling like I have stuffed my face today and I still have 750 calories remaining for dinner. Not sure why but I did do something different today by snacking every 2 hours after a super light lunch at 12:30 so maybe that's why. Cherries at 2:00 and hummus and crackers at 3:30. Dinner will be at 7 when my daughter goes down...then more packing. Move is Monday!
7/19 - 219.9...hmm...feel like I've been here before...
7/20 - 221 - had sushi last night....why is it so delicious!!!??? Paying for it today...lots of water!
7/21 - 221 - sadly, I was hoping to get back to my lowest of 219.8 for the final weigh-in but hey...at least I'm still under my starting weight for this round.
Absolutely love this challenge and I look forward to next round! I will be on mobile for the duration of the next round with no computer access so I hope I can still find this thread! If you don't hear from me, you know I didn't!
Thanks to everyone for the accountability and all the new MFP friends I have had the pleasure of supporting along this hectic journey! Here is to round 11!6 -
R9 SW 197.8
R10 SW 198.9
Round 9 - my round 1 - was just up and down. I'm going to plan for down this round.
7/12 - 197.8. I'd like to see a solid 196 by the end of this round.
7/13 - 196.7 I did not drink as much water as usual yesterday. That may be a factor. However, I have been tracking closely for the last few days and my exercise is consistent. Loving C25K, but I am only in week 2. Lot's of time for that statement to change.
7/14 - 196.7 Same stuff different day
7/15 - 198.0 Stressful day yesterday. We lost water Thursday night and the end result was we had to sink a new pump yesterday. Too much eating of snack type foods. Too much eating in general. I finished C25K Week 2.
7/16 - 198.3 Ate over again. Got my 10K steps in and some extra exercise of challenges. For the week overall (Sun - Sat) I am in the green .
7/17 - 197.5 Alright, alright, alright
7/18 - 197.1 A nice result after a well behaved day. Had a normal yogurt + bran buds breakfast, a salad for lunch with chicken & cheese chunks, and for dinner a butter delight: lemon-butter-garlic chicken with mushrooms sauteed in the same pan, then butter sauteed asparagus. Two mile walk.
7/19 - 197.1 two more days to get to 196
7/20 - 197.8 Not the number or direction I wanted to see but not surprising. At work desk for 15 hours yesterday, I could see the swelling in my feet toward the end of the day. Ate a few salty things. Did not get my C25K day in so I got up this morning before work and got it completed
7/21 - 196.7 This is a good number to end on. I wanted a 'solid 196' this round. Total 1.1 recorded in 2 rounds. What will tomorrow bring!?
See you next round!8 -
R9 SW 108.4
R10 SW 108.5
goal: any number under 108
7/12 108.5
7/13 108.1
7/14 108.4
7/15 108.0
7/16 109.2
7/17 106.9 I am encouraged to keep my Calories down and my exercise consistent.
7/18 108.8 yep. Exercised (again). Only 3 more days!
7/19 106.9 Hmmm. Another surprise morning. (kcals were 1400)
7/20 107.3: Wow, can't believe I am staying under the 108.
