8/1 - 139.0 Great way to start! Protein & fiber drink for breakfast. Salad for lunch. Protein/fiber drink for a snack and fresh caught rock cod & salad for dinner. Plus drank more water than normal.
8/2 - 138.6 Met my fat/protein/carb goals and stayed within calories. Tried to drink more water than normal.
8/3 - 139.0

8/1-140.4.-surprised by this- didn't workout yesterday or drink enough water. Only at 1250 cals but REALLY random things. Pepperoni and Halo Top ice cream anyone? No I'm not pregnant, ha!
8/2-142.6- Mexican food and salt for dinner last night.
8/3-142.6- worked out yesterday and stayed under 1100 calories. Learning my lesson about cheat meals and sodium, ugh!

8/7 - 164.4 Not my usual time but by this it looks like I faired well at the music festival.. It was so hot and the dancing burn off a few cals too and over steps in the 1000's. Let's see what happens these next few days. Tomorrow will be my first normal day ... haha 'normal'
8/8 - 164.6 This looks good, still not back to a good routine. Need to go to the store so I can bring my lunch to work.
8/9 - 166.1 I'm pretty happy with sticking around the 160's. SO leaves for work on Friday and I can probably drop a few once he is away. Continue on.

8/1--229.2 Kept up with my liquids yesterday and had a weightlifting session yesterday.
8/2--229.0 Still making sure I keep myself hydrated.
8/3--228.1 Had a great weightlifting/workout session yesterday. Not sure if the weight loss will stay for the remainder of this round but it's nice to see a new low weight.
8/4--228.1 Holding steady.
8/5--227.9 My goal for this weekend is to make sure that I keep hydrated. I find on the weekend I tend to forget to drink my water which leads to me thinking that I am hungry, when in fact I am just thirsty.
8/6--227.9 I had a great hike yesterday and then had some great diner food afterwards. I made sure that I stayed hydrated, even continued to drink water after I had come home from the hike. I will continue to make sure I stay hydrated today and eat at my calorie goal.
8/7--229.4 This is why I love weighing myself everyday. It's just amazing to see how my body reacts to things. Yesterday I had a great massage, today my muscles are sore from the massage, and the muscle soreness results in water retention. I am continuing to stay hydrated and will just wait for the water weight to go.
8/8--228.3 There it goes.
8/9--227.9 And there goes the rest of it.
8/10--227.0 I am pretty surprised about this number, but I will take it. I believe that making sure that I stayed hydrated definitely helped because it kept me from eating when I wasn't hungry, but instead was just thirsty and this helped me keep at or near my daily calorie goal.9 -

8/2: 158 I've been up over the last few days, so a drop was expected
8/3: 156.8 Currently TOM, so fluctuations are all over the place

8/5: 155 Not sure what that's about. I even ate well over yesterday. I may be a little dehydrated.
8/6: 155.6 Dealing with a stomach virus in our household going through each of my kids
8/8: 155.8 Still dealing with sick kids, plus I'm not feeling so great now either
8/9: 155.6 Bouncing around the same weight. This stomach bug is something fierce. Hopefully soon I can get back to having energy and working out.

8/1 174 Went run/walking with my dog this morning. I used to run a lot more but am currently recovering from a bad case of plantar fasciitis. I am doing the couch to 10K app and I am on week 4. Small victories!

8/5 175.9 I dreaded the scale this morning as I did a lot of grazing yesterday and drank wine at night (a couple of glasses). So I am glad it did not creep up again! I really want to see the scale go down in this second half. Went to the Y this morning and ran on the treadmill. Think I will start tracking again on MFP.
8/6 174.3 Yesterday was very productive. Spent most of the day cleaning out our shed, so was distracted. Drank lots of water, did not partake in alcohol, and tracked my food. First OP day I have had in a while. One day at a time.
8/7 172.3 Way less bloated today. Drank a ton of water yesterday and stayed in my calories. Again, tracked. Tracking (and the fact that I am weighing in every day) gave me some incentive yesterday. I ran on the treadmill for 30 mins. and did some stretching, too. More stretching tonight and a break from running.
8/8 172 Tracked again yesterday. Went over my calorie goal a bit, but did go and take the dog for a walk last night to up my steps. Did stretching last night and it was a good hurt... I am so inflexible! Not enough water (and too much wine) and night eating are my two biggest challenges. Just focusing on those things for three days has made a difference.
8/9 171.1 Survived an afternoon lunch meeting and stuck to veggies, meat, and one roll. No dessert.
8/10 171.4 Yay! Ended up with a loss. Instead of treating the daily weigh-in as an "obsession" I looked at it more as information and data. Loved reading everyone's comments too. I will sign up for the next one!7 -

I'm really hoping to get to 175.5 or lower. It's a lofty goal but it's back to school night at my older kids school on the 10th, and I haven't seen a lot of those people since the end of May. If I hit 175 it will be a 10lb loss. Wish I had started MFP the end of May instead of last week of June. Oh well.

8/1 143.3 Exercised and stayed under calorie goal yesterday. Beach day today. Need to plan ahead for dinner out.
8/2 143.3 2.5 hour walk on beach: stayed under calories if "walking brisk" exercise calories used calculation was accurate for my walk on uneven, soft sand at Crystal Cove State Beach. For anyone in Southern California, this was a fantastic, beautiful walk!
8/3 143.7 Exercised (elliptical) and stayed under calorie goal. Realized I forgot to add a Starbucks drink on 8/1, so really was over calories on 8/1. Ready for this weight to start dropping! It has been TOM, so hopefully in a day or two.

My elliptical says I am burning 500 calories, but I only count 350, and never eat back more than that. Yesterday's sodium was high (Panda Express string bean chicken bowl with side of vegetables).
8/7 142.5 Finally, 142.something. Had birthday cake yesterday. 10 extra minutes on the elliptical to stay under calorie goal. Today is my first official day back to work (teacher).
8/8 142.1 Exercised and ate under calories. Blood work this morning to see if blood sugar and cholesterol dropped after losing about 50 pounds since last year.

8/4 - 231.0 Ah...That's more like it. Have done a lot of reading, lately, about nutrition. I noticed my Potassium was extremely low. Seems like a lot of the foods that have K (potassium) are healthy foods. So, yesterday I focused on food for health. Love that we can keep rack of our minerals and vitamins here. Also, I started taking a multivitamin.
