Hello all. Over 200 is what I WILL lose. Body has been neglected for years and spent some time in the ER last night where I sort of had me "wake up" call sounded by medical professionals.1
-
I'm in! I still have 111lbs to go by last weigh in. I weigh once a month, so as not to get discouraged, because I'm sure we all know how easy that is. Wishing everyone the best in their journey. We got this!1

I need this group! I have tried for years to start down the path toward 100 pound weight loss. This summer, I started again and have added exercise, cut back on sugar, logged in and stayed within calorie goals 95 percent of the time, and yet the weight is not coming off. I need help to not give up. Anyone can friend me, need all the support I can get!1

Been there. The highest I got to was about 240lbs. Got all the way down to 180 (60lbs) and then gained some back with a cruise I went on a year or so ago and health setbacks but I have a goal and I'm heading straight for it! You may find as you make progress that you will end up wanting to recompose yourself where, once you've lost enough fat you end up wanting to add muscle. That can change the value you place on the weight numbers. After a couple years of watching the numbers on the scale go down, it messes with my head when I start seeing the numbers slowly go up and try to convince myself that's not a bad thing. lol1

Hey Guys I just wanted to stop by and tell you all that you're amazing! You can do this and it's so much better with friends on here. I really need mine for support, motivation and *kitten* kicking!1

That's me too ... from the beginning. I'm curently 40 pounds down from that start. It's slow going now and I'm taking a 'maintenance' break before pushing on again.1

I hit a plateau a few weeks back and I upped my calories by a few hundred...stayed within them and didn't touch my exercise calories. It finally shifted and hopefully I'm back on the road again Taking a break can sometimes be just want your body needs0 -
I hear you @amaggio2 I was 308 lbs January of this year, my target weight is to be between 120 lbs and 140 lbs, my current weight is 236 lbs so just over 70 lbs down, 100 lbs to go, my motivation is that I am sick of missing out on living, I am sick of letting my anxiety over my weight putting my life on hold, I have been overweight since my mid teens and I don't want to be overweight anymore, I am currently having problems with my gallbladder and having gallstones due to my rapid weight loss, my motivation did falter during those attacks as I was left feeling very weak and in pain but I fought through that and I am continuing this battle getting an exercise bike helped me alot due to anxiety I am terrified to go to the gym so walking and using my exercise bike helps so much I wish you all the best, nothing comes easy in life, you have to fight for it also no pain no gain or in our cases weight loss YOU CAN DO IT! safe paths to you and everyone else fighting to get to their ideal weight
P.S I forgot to add my height... I'm 5"4.
Also hello from the UK5 -

@amaggio2 thats amazing! Your doing so well, the hard part to leading a healthier lifestyle for me were the first few weeks but once I got into a routine of everything I was ok, I find logging my food intake a day or so in advance helps me so much
